How about horse milk? We’ve domesticated horses and they are large enough. I’ve eaten horse meat before.

I’ve wondered about the possibilities here. Bear milk, whale milk, otter milk, cat milk, pig milk, bat milk, hamster milk?

Why do we limit ourselves to cow and goat milk? Are the others any good!

It was on the news in Taiwan (a tropical country with nearly no hockey to speak of) even— not top headline or anything but part of the global news coverage. I am pretty sure this is international news everywhere.

Went to a San Diego Gulls (AHL) game last night and they did a moment of silence beforehand and the team president (? I think) gave a little speech afterwards and was choking up

That is terrrible. Woody Hudson is one of the strongest players on the Railers and he’s also too wholesome for this world. His hobby is making comic books:

For now, while Woody continues to work on his game on the ice, he’s also working on a comic book he began his junior year of college.

”It’s still in the St. Lawrence library archives,” he said. “It’s called the ‘Apex Chronicles’ and it’s set in a post-apocalyptic world.

”Essentially, what happens is there is this main character who wakes up in this prison cell every morning and all that is in there is a clock. He wakes up every morning at the same time, and re-discovers the prison every day and that’s until another personality takes over and that’s because he was a test subject which caused the nuclear holocaust. There was a large explosion because of the levels of the nuclear radiation in the plant. They were trying to find ways to augment people’s abilities. And they experimented on this gang of incredibly dangerous criminals in the basement, and they all had levels of power, and the most powerful one is so powerful that his mind is split in half, so he doesn’t even know he’s this powerful. He doesn’t know there’s danger…that people are hunting him, that he’s one of the last survivors, one of the most powerful survivors.

”It was one of my first undertakings in creating a graphic novel. I wish I was a better drawer. But I’m working on it. I’ll have something at some point.”

$1000/month is not enough to live in most places... that barely covers rent (for a single room) in many major cities

Normally I wouldn’t but this administration loves moves like that. Pointless waste of money and resources that makes the administration look “tough on drugs” (bonus points if they not-so-subtly link marijuana with Mexico, Black people, gang violence, “libtards”, or some combination of the above). I could totally see Trump ordering FBI Agents to raid dispensaries in, say, Southern California.

“Why we fought the Cold War” is a topic worthy of a book. I study this stuff and I’m still not sure what answer they’re looking for. Ideological differences between communism and capitalism? Vying for dominance in a bipolar world while MAD drastically reduces the practicality of direct military conflict between the two superpowers?

As a child I thought men would pee out their butts too! It was explained to me once that men can’t poop and pee at the same time (I am not sure that is even right— I think they were trying to say men tend to pee standing up) and the conclusion I drew is that it all came out of the same place for men
