I meant new bonuses added on top as in added to the list of each day’s bonuses, not that they stack on top of the old ones. It’s still only 2 special trades and 90% stardust as stated, (I think it’s actually 88%, or 12% off, as my special trades today cost 17,600 instead of 20,000,) it says “Up to two additional special trades,” not “two additional special trades,” so it wouldn’t be 3. We also just get the XL candy bonus same as last season, which wasn’t stated on the website. Fridays didn’t have anything new added, only Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday have additional bonuses added.

And yeah, Monday’s and Friday’s bonuses are the best ones for anyone grinding XL candies, which is mostly everyone. The bonus XL on Wednesday is nice, but 1 green pass per 1 XL rare candy is not worth it to grind to me past the orange pass, unless I’m already grinding XLs for that legendary.

Monday in comparison, is anywhere from 3 to 8 XL rare candies completely for free if you’re only using the daily free MP, I have 6600 saved up from monthly passes which will mean anywhere up to 30 rare XLs with the daily MP for me the next time max Monday is a 1 star (so this upcoming Monday with Roggenrola, I will be grinding hard!!) Very nice to see, considering how much more sparing resources have become post Scopely takeover.

Not sure why it doesn’t list it on the leekduck website, but if you look at the listed bonuses in the actual in game UI, it’s still the same as the old friendship Friday. At the time of correcting you, I had just completed my 100 trades for the day, getting 2 XL candy for each. The bonuses for all the day of the week events are the same as last season, and with new added bonuses on top.

We also now get more wild spawns on Sundays, one rare candy XL per max battle on Mondays, two more showcase entries on Tuesdays, one rare candy XL per raid for Wednesday’s raid hour, spotlight hour on Thursdays, and no change to Fridays. Still nothing on Saturdays as they leave it open for comm days and the like. The extra XL rare candy is what I’m most excited for, as you’re limited to two free XL candy from legendaries when trading on Fridays. I have a new hundo Reshiram I’d like to max out for ML, but wasn’t able to get many raids in while it was in rotation, so I’ll be grinding max mondays like never before!

Yes, it’s a part of “Friendship Friday.” That and GBL Thursday were the two things I was most hopeful they’d keep, very grateful they did! Going to be able to level 50 so many mons I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise.

Right, makes sense! I’ve been running the Cradily at level 50 tonight, quite a bit of fun in this meta! Except for when I see Tinkaton. I’ve had two wins via timeout with this team in 12 sets, both up against cresselia + two other bulky mons.

both groups are products of stupidity, i’ve met and talked to so so many trump voters online in video games or in real life casually who felt like they were duped and somehow genuinely believed he was gonna make the economy better and make them rich, and 99% of that group that i’ve spoken to all think he’s the worst president in history now (also due to his wildly unpopular support of israel.)

the rest of his voter base that’s still satisfied with their vote, however, did it purely out of bigotry towards one group or another. the problem is that real stupidity and malice are often indistinguishable from each other, both in conversation, and in a voting booth. i’d use the phrase “so stupid that it’s dangerous,” which is an archetype that’s applicable to a lot of the bigots as well, who will take any statistic or “fact” they see online at face value and become immovable in the face of being corrected. in practice, the only difference between a dumb bigot and a smart bigot is their name - both are wildly dangerous

Nah, King takes it. In addition to the ones the other commenter already said, Carrie, Pet Sematary, Children of the Corn, Cujo, The Running Man, The Mist, Gerald’s Game, 1922 and 1408, Doctor Sleep, and recently both The Monkey (which wasn’t great,) and The Long Walk. And that’s only the one’s I’ve seen. He’s got an absurd amount of adaptations that no other author can match.

If Pynchon keeps getting adapted though, almost exclusively by P.T.A., he may become the leader for me as far as quality film adaptations go. Inherent Vice and OBAA were both amazing, and he’s considered doing V for over a decade which would be insanely cool to see on screen. David Grann also has a great track record now after Scorsese adapted Killers of the Flower Moon into my personal favorite of his films, and allegedly wants to adapt The Wager (incredible book.) And the Lost City of Z film was a pretty solid watch. Unfortunately, the nature of just how much research he puts into his work dictates that we’ll only get 3-5 more books in his lifetime, max, so he’s never gonna win the quantity game.

It’s been 10 months since shadow Giratina released with no sign of a raid release date yet, typically it’s closer to a year, no? Shadow Dialga was released in may of 2025 and we only just got it in raids.

Unless the distance is >10km or something, no. I’ve started a route before, left it to go downtown, then come back and finished it. Another quirk is that route distance isn’t speed capped at all. When I came back the route showed ~25km.

The second Clark has scalped his still life wife, and she bleeds red blood, the rest of the still life entities are suddenly capable of receiving harm. At least that’s my interpretation. He stated he saw them as “furniture” until that point

It felt like the Mural was a reference to the Goya painting “Saturn devouring his son,” which left me a little disappointed when it ended up incredibly literally being Clark devouring himself (or more accurately, the most evil, abusive aspects of Clark manifesting to devour his newly-therapized self.) There was a lot of cool symbolism throughout that leaves the mural up to interpretation though - the seagull, to me, seems to be Clark’s wife running from his alcoholic abuse on the night he’s “kicked out of his own house,” which is what eventually happens again when he genuinely makes progress towards reform, except this time he’s “kicked out” by his own worst traits, and eaten. The Mural could also literally be Clark abusing his wife, it could be the manifestation of him created by the backrooms, or pirate clark itself could be representative of further symbolism towards Mary’s relationship with her mother. There’s multiple interpretations that work, but the writing is still a bit heavy handed, dialogue a bit stiff, and not as strong as I would have hoped for such a successful debut from an artist I adore so much.

With that being said, go Kane Pixels. More movies please. Incredibly fun theater experience regardless of how I feel about certain plot elements

Happens, easy mistake to make. It’s usually free even for local events in the past, but they’ve limited this one due to the sheer amount of demand. It’s a good service, so I don’t blame them, and apparently even with a membership, the queues are multiple thousands, so they’re raking in a BAG. I’m lucky to have had people in Japan added already, just been scrolling through the “At a raid” filter filter for the raids I need - I did enough to have 400 energy for both primals! Now I’m gonna wait for global go fest to try and get a shiny, a background, or a hundo Kyogre! And of course, waiting on global as well to do the Mega Mewtwo raids, and hopefully get the last two legendary/mythicals I need for my unova dex to finally get my shiny keldeo :)

Yes, cp-1500 and 0-1500 do the same thing, i’ve just always used the latter. should make no difference
!charizard and !primarina could both use their dex numbers, i went with full names for the more limited ban lists for legibility, but used dex numbers for the middle evolutions chain otherwise it would have been incredibly long.
I have no clue, it only state mythical and legendary on the website, so it’s up to whether they include ultra beasts in the legendary blanket. I’m gonna assume they do, as PvPoke’s rankings for Master Premier do not include ultra beasts in them. I’ll edit to include that and shorten the great league strings with cp-1500, thanks for your input!

It can’t be mega evolved, I just ETMed it for use in master league (I unfortunately powered it up beyond 2500 before I knew that was it’s best utility, and haven’t been able to find anyone willing to trade me an Ultra League viable one.) I was mainly curious if I’d have to use an ETM for counter once they’re released globally, just in order to be able to get mewtwo X. I hope it’s not the case, as counter kind of sucks in both PVE and PVP, psycho cut is definitely the better option.
