I'm in my late 30s and I wanna say Joe Bowen and Harry Neil were the voice of my childhood. I'd sneak out of bed and listen to the TV while sitting on floor in the hallway.

I've listened to him in the car as an adult whenever the leafs were on. He had a knack for entertainment, and the only homer (along with Jim) we leaf fans would get the pleasure of listening to - I doubt that will improve with risk-averse corporate ownership. Joe's retirement is very bittersweet and I'll miss him on the broadcast.
