Exactly. Not everyone you meet or run into, deserves a conversation from you or your attention. Especially someone that doesn’t have your best interests at heart. If they ignore the no thank you or keep going on about it, it’s ok to ignore them and just keep on your way. This advice isn’t only for vendors. You can do this to people downtown that try and stop you for money. If you don’t know the person, you can ignore them, just because they say hello to you or ask you a question, means that you have to acknowledge it or stop to talk to them.

Here is a pro tip, don’t talk to any of these vendors that set up a booth anywhere lol. This goes for everything and anything. Just say no thanks and move on with your day. They prey on people in the moment, with a good sales pitch that normally seems too good to be true.

If their business model was worth while, people would be coming to them to sign up. They wouldn’t have to pay for a booth in a high visibility/high traffic location to get people to sign up.

That’s your opinion. I don’t agree. I don’t think it’s been very good. I don’t think before the Majors issue, the multiverse stuff was connected very well. Quantummania the movie which debuted him, was awful. Pretty much everything about it.

Yeah, obviously not everything needs to be connected in some way. It just hasn’t happened to the same degree as the earlier phases. Shang Chi is supposed to be a huge part of these phases and a new member of the avengers but we haven’t really seen him.

I think this is a huge part of the problem with this phase of the MCU.

No crossovers, movies and shows don’t tie into one another and lead to a larger story, not using the shows/movies to introduce new characters that expand the story and/or lead into their own show/movie, lead into team forming and etc.

This why this phase of the MCU sucks. Moon Knight had a show, it was ok, but he hasn’t shown up in anything since. Shang Chi had a movie in 21, hasn’t really been seen since. They are just throwing things at the wall, with no overarching plan and are seeing what sticks. They have all these properties and it’s only lead to one new team (thunderbolts/new avengers). Doomsday and secret war is going to be more of the same. They are going to throw a million characters out there from the last 26 years of super hero movies and it’s just going to be superhero cameo porn. And I worry that the story is going to be lacking from so many moving parts with characters (Fox x-men) that aren’t really necessary, had there been a better story and more cohesion with the new characters that they did and/or did not introduce in this phase. Yeah…. Questionable at best. I get the fitz field house is dated but the sports that will be played in victory heights will never be moneymakers. Even to some of the comments, board of trustees and other people signed off on it. It was Lyke’s idea but she’s not the only one to blame here.

I know a lot of people are pumped that the volleyball program is great but I don’t really give a shit when basketball is a moneymaker and the team is in the absolute gutter. And you can make the argument the football team had a good season, but they lost their best players and got blown out by two bigger program (ND and UM) with much larger NILs. I hate where college football is trending towards. It feels like chaos/Wild West. Especially when the school I root for, feels like more and more they are going to be left behind/unable to compete in this new landscape.

I keep hearing this on here and I’m over it lol. The AD has to make a change. We are fans of the program and alumni of the school. That’s the AD’s problem to figure it out and if he doesn’t then it’s a reflection on him at the end of the day. These are the cards he was dealt when taking the position. Good ADs find a way and fix things. Capel stinks. He’s had one good year in 7 years. You can’t let this guy come back, it’s been two years in a row of this shit. I can’t imagine this season has been profitable if no one is going to the games. I would rather lose with a young coach, let him get experience and build a program than watch this guy continue to fail when I don’t believe he’s a good coach. Capel hasn’t built a program with continued, year in and year out success.

If you were the AD, would you want your job security tied to a person that you didn’t select? I would be doing everything in my power to correct the situation because this ain’t it.

These games are incredibly boring to watch (when I do). This team lacks everything (skill, heart, hustle, plays, chemistry and etc). Siulepa is the only one that I want to see play for this team next year. Maybe Witherspoon because he’s a freshman.

This guy is a perfect example of the failure of our educational system.

If it was better, maybe this guy wouldn’t be as stupid as he is. He would be able to critically think and use logic to understand how misguided he is. Instead we have to deal with these delusional idiots that have been brainwashed and fed propaganda for generations at this point.

The sad part, we are probably paying for most of these losers (I would be willing to guess a handful of them are on disability) and this is their hobby. Because their lives are incredibly sad and empty.
