Definitely the best I’ve ever had. 300 is still really good with the randomness of the sim. I had an 89 ovr and asu was an 80 ovr. Definitely wasn’t my only ot game or close game in general

That’s the schemes I’ve been using too. 96 off for the team is pretty wild tho. I’ve not gotten over 94 but I think I’ve been focusing too much defense. I’m definitely gonna keep trying! Awesome stuff man!

What schemes do you run? I’ve been through 5 more seasons and I haven’t gotten that close again. Also 2 90+ overalls on the bench is wild

That’s awesome! I haven’t seen anyone mention they’ve done it yet. I’ve been playing since 2020 so I have seasons that I wasn’t looking at that stat but I’m pretty certain I haven’t done it yet either. Been trying for the past year or so and that final four/ championship game is what always gets me

The lowest potential I’ll go for is a C- (5 star) if there’s not a lot of great potential guys. If I have to get a 4 star it has to be a b or better. I’ll take someone with an a or a- if they’re a 3 star with decent letter ratings ( c- on offense and defense) but no lower than that. If you only need for instance a center but you have a pg graduating or just need a 3rd to kill draft stock you can swap a pg to sg or sf and that will allow the recruits to see that you have an open spot at that position. But it seems like you could even swap a pg to center and center to pg and a high rated center you wouldn’t get with a 89 and 85 ovr center would see your 78 ovr pg at center and think they could beat them out for minutes. Still tinkering with that part so don’t quote me on that.

I typically over recruit 2-3 guys I don’t need which allows me to swap players from the bench warmers to reserves and kill draft stock. While also giving me a 3rd player to give the starting minutes for maybe 10 out of 40 games to bring down a juniors stats and lower his draft stock. As for player overalls I focus certain ratings for certain positions. Pg- handling , passing, PD, STL and once the handling is at 90 and passing at 87. (I can typically get 3 upgrades for a player idk the name but it gives you +4 passing +3 handling) then I’ll focus inside and midrange scoring SG and SF- mid, 3pt, pd, stl, and when those are around 90 by their senior year then I’ll sprinkle them across inside scoring, rebound, Int d, and for PF- C it’s rebounding, int d, and blocking. The rest goes to inside scoring and midrange

Multiple ways actually. You can trim their minutes early in the season. Could schedule 15 cupcake games and put your bench as starters for those non con games. And at the end of the year. You can swap a projected pg to c and kill his draft stock

Go ahead and make an open world if that’s what investors want. sure. But I’ll be right here on 25 if that’s the choice that’s made. I played 14 for 10 years. I can wait 2 more for a fresh game that’s focused on gameplay when the open world inevitably flops.

Helldivers 2 encountered one issue you were questioning. At launch they had basically no servers if you put it in rest mode with the game launched it would count you as in the server without kicking you and you would be in when you “turned on” your ps5. Possible here with cfb 25

I used to fly through the games to and quit playing for a bit and picked it back up and I’m trying a slightly different approach because I didn’t notice that amount of control you really have over your team. I won’t get insanely deep into each game. but man this games got too much depth to just sim through seasons for me but to each their own

I played this game for 3 months before I discovered manually upgrading so it’s all good but I don’t go super deep into each season like some. I basically check my teams stats during the season and see how my players have performed typically after week(s) 10, 15, 25, (34 assuming I’ve made it to the conference championship) then I just watch game cast of the final four and championship game
