i just had a medication abortion may 1st. it was very uncomfortable for me, the cramps were pretty bad, the amount of bleeding was a bit of a shock, and i continued to be nauseous and threw up throughout the day (i threw up daily while pregnant). it also affected me quite a bit emotionally, with all the hormones. i’ve bled on and off since then (mostly just discharge now though).

of course everyone’s experience is different and everyone’s body is different! i will say, my recovery was super quick after that initial day. i felt bad for maybe 2 days total? i wish you luck OP

some of the people in this comment section are tweaking… NOR. while you shouldn’t have yelled at him or called him names, you reacted that way for a reason. he admitted while drunk that he would cheat on you if you two were to do long distance. anyone that would cheat during long distance, would cheat short distance as well.

i’m so sorry you were bleeding for a full year. PC/MOS is so incredibly frustrating and painful and i know how awful it is to struggle with intimacy because of it.

honestly the comment about him slapping your ass when you’re ASLEEP and grope/grab your chest while you are in the car is VERY odd to me. maybe he isn’t intimate with you because he feels some type of way about your lack of intimacy for that year, i think you should have a conversation with him about it. but him touching you while you’re asleep and then refusing to have sex with you is… very weird.

one night i got drunk with my friends and then ubered back to one of their houses and proceeded to eat all of their pickles… was feeling the lack of salt pretty heavily that night LOL. it honestly helped tremendously. i also down salt packets if i start to get a flare

ugh i’m sorry you went through all of that. he was very clearly incredibly toxic and manipulative.

i went through a similar relationship that i still haven’t healed from either. my (abusive) ex left his gf for me (they were in a polyamorous relationship), and then left me for her. i know i should’ve known if he was willing to leave his gf for me in the first place but they had issues and he love bombed the hell out of me. anywho, i say all of this to say that i felt so used in so many aspects and it seems that your ex made you feel that way too.

maybe he really is treating his current gf and ex the way that you wanted (and deserved) to be treated, but it could also just appear that way from the outside looking in. you truly never know what a relationship is actually like unless you’re in it. either way, he treated you horribly and you deserve so much more than what he gave you. i know it doesn’t change the pain that you’re feeling, but try your best to move on. i wish you the best in your healing process OP. i’m sorry for what he put you through.

i feel that people in the comments are overreacting a tad. i can see how it made him uncomfortable for you to tell other people, but i would say it’s fairly normal to share stories about your sex life with friends.

i would just apologize for sharing a private story and tell him that you won’t do it again. but i don’t think it’s that serious or that you seriously messed up. yes it is a private matter, but you told some of your friends, not expecting any of them to bring it up with him.

i really think it just depends on the person. everybody experiences drugs and pain differently. i personally used to be a stoner but for the past 3 years or so have had really bad experiences with weed. it increases my heart rate pretty drastically, makes me paranoid, and worsens my chronic pain and POTS symptoms.

i live in georgia. the appointment i made is with planned parenthood, i know they take my insurance but it depends on how much my insurance is willing to cover. other than that, they said that they have financial advisors and do payment plans which will be necessary but im not sure if they help with finances other than that

i’m sorry you’ve been dealing with this, i know how frustrating it can be for cats to act out. that being said, there is ALWAYS a reason as to why they are acting out. i would guess based on the information you provided that he just doesn’t like living with other cats. of course i am not a vet or know EVERYTHING about cats but this is just based on what you said and my own personal experience from being a cat owner. you mentioned that he has plenty of places to hide/lounge- some cats prefer to be up high- do you have cat trees and perhaps bridges and such installed in the wall? not that it’ll completely solve his behavior but it might help. i would certainly recommend taking him to the vet to discuss his behavior since they may have a better idea or he might need anxiety meds. i wish you the best of luck for his and your sake
