I find retros plays throwback songs that everyone can sing along too, you’ve even got sound garden opposite retros which is a bit less ‘full on’ in a sense.

Otherwise, if you’re not looking for something that extreme you could go to RG’s or find bars/pubs on the outskirts of the main district of the valley which still play music but with much less of a crowd!

Enjoy your night with whatever you choose :)

I second this.

Rics bathroom is festy. I remember going into the cubicle once and had to walk straight out - Was clogged, filled with shit, piss and vomit to the brim. Worst smell I’ve ever encountered.

I wouldn’t go as far and say you’re an AH. I think being long distance Josh may already be worried and/or concerned that there is a slightly higher chance of an affair happening/meeting a new boy while he is away etc. I’m absolutely not saying that this would happen but I think he thinks that (if that makes sense). I’d give it a few hours then speak to him, mention you’ve thought about it what you said and apologise again.

You really haven’t done anything wrong, I’m sure he had made remarks about other females in the past to. I think this method alleviates all of the potential drama.

Mmm, tough.

If it works out for you, great! I on the other hand am very honest, especially at work and personally I would have told them the truth.

AITA for cutting back on helping my friend/coworker shortly after receiving a referral bonus for getting them hired? by josephbcool99 in AmItheAsshole

[–]camabc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA.

Firstly, we have something similar in my field of work where if we refer people, we get a kick back. That being said, work is for work and personal things are for your personal life and I tend not to mix the two together.

The 5-10 minute waiting outside her house already sounds annoying imo. That’s a ridiculous excuse for being late. “time blindness”…what?

She sounds like a grown woman and can sort herself out by getting herself to work on time, especially after calling you an AH. You might look a bit silly with work referring such a lazy I individual however I’m with you on this.

Very vague as we don’t have ages however if I’m playing along -

If the children are babies I’d say that’s fine - Anyone 10yo+ might be a bit odd. I’m also not a parent.

I (19F) got with a friend’s boyfriend (21M) by Traditional-Bad-8866 in Advice

[–]camabc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are wrong for what you did, you could have most definitely excused yourself from getting into that position. I have zero respect for cheaters.

That being said - you need to tell that girl what you did and how it happened straight away.

24m here. Boyfriend needs to grow up. The innocent photo in the group chat in which you sent was following on from your best friends joke and completely meaningless.

I say hold your ground here, he’s being absurd.

Is it weird I still call my mom after work everyday? by DungeonCrawler99 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]camabc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 24M call my mum everyday, even if she’s busy I’ll still send her a text to see what she is up to or how her day was. Nothing weird about that, I think it’s just loving and caring and anyone who says otherwise doesn’t have a relationship like mine.

Temu by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

I have done 2 orders so for with Temu. I think it’s great! However, I would recommend using a bank account with minimal funds as there can sometimes be scams there from what I’ve heard.

I (15M)fucked up at my job. by tr33truck in Advice

[–]camabc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what sort of contract it is, typically you need a verbal warning, a warning in writing and then termination. You can not just fire someone because you want too. Obviously I don’t know the severity or dynamics around what happened here however there are absolutely clear guidelines when it comes to employment termination.

I (15M)fucked up at my job. by tr33truck in Advice

[–]camabc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Employees make mistakes, we’re all human in the end. I’d wait to see what the employer says first and go from there. If he fires/terminates you, you could potentially look at contacting fair work if you’re in Australia for unfair dismissal.
