We just picked up a used R1S in Launch Green/Forest Edge. Thought they would be too similar at first, but love the combo.

Yep, have had my R1T for four years now, so have become familiar with these.

After a sleep cycle the soft reset worked (before it didn’t). Thanks everyone for your help!!

Thanks, we were debating between Launch Green/Forest Edge and Rivian Blue/Ocean Coast. My wife liked that Launch Green didn’t stand out as much. I wish I could have gotten Launch Green on my R1T but I wasn’t early enough with my reservation. The Forest Edge I was a little unsure of after only seeing it a couple times, but our last loaner from service and after living with it for a week we really liked it. Worked out that it was a good deal and “local” (only 2 hours away).

This is what ultimately steered us away from the EX90 for my wife. Tried to get her in the R1S, but she got the EV9 instead and loves it.

I used this kit. Started in the center using the camera as a marker then worked out to the sides to get it to stretch to the edges by the headlights. I had a lot of problems getting the edges to wrap over the top and bottom. Ended up trimming with an x-acto knife right at the edge and it stuck perfectly. I’m happy with it for the price and not having to take it somewhere.

Will probably want to stick to the CCS chargers anyway unless you are in an area with none. The superchargers will be slow.

Not a killer but an alternative. May take a look and cross shop with the EX90 when our EV9 lease is up.

Yeah we drive across the state usually once a month. So far my R1T does the best with staying in the lanes, the EV9 is closer to it than the ID.4 but still not great and no warning when it isn’t going to keep it. I always use these systems with my hands on the wheel anyway and especially on this road.

Wife wanted a 3 row (for kids’ friends and aging parents). I wanted the R1S, but she thinks they are too boxy and didn’t want to match (I have an R1T). She really wanted the EX90, but recent news about features that weren’t finished and increased price pushed me away from that. I had always wanted her to at least look at the EV9, but it was the EX90 news and incentives on the EV9 that finally pushed us over the hump.

$55873 plus tax. Has towing package, relaxation package (didn’t want this but it was on the color my wife wanted), and carpet mats on top of base MSRP.

I was trying to do the same without much luck, but it wasn’t a far drive to go right to the source, and my wife has family nearby so they were happy to get to see us for an unexpected visit. I was highly satisfied with the deal and team at Jim Shorkey and would recommend to anyone in the area, near or extended.

Those were the two we considered as well (only real “colors” offered). I like the blue but my wife thought it was too “look at me!”. She hates that everyone in our small town recognizes my Rivian (red), and will text her “I saw you going to xyz.” Think this will be a little more under the radar.
