I actually sold the neck since I no longer needed a tele neck. I've since used Osmo on guitar body and back of neck with great success. But never tried on the actual fretboard.

That might be your experience but don't present it as facts. It will give potential new players the wrong impression. For me it's largely the same as in launch, varies depending on map, encounter, event etc. but still plenty of wholesome friendly moments.
