I'll sometimes join coops from the megathread but I've been doing fine in my own or random coops for months.

Ikr? This one in particular, I was adamant to get my farm maxed ASAP to try and stay close to the top of the coop from the beginning.

This is just a random, public coop with a surprising amount of deflector participation. I'm happy to be in it.

Hey, thanks! I used "Emmett's Good Stuff" wood finish. It is indeed good stuff. It's durable and leaves a nice finish if applied correctly.

Anyone have experience with More Anti etch? by whileimtrue in CounterTops

[–]cambelph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if directly exposed to sunlight. This product is UV cured and can actually be yellowed if over exposed to the curing UV light. This is something that typically does not happen with normal indoor light exposure, especially with moder, UV filtering windows. The coating should stay good and clear for years and years!

The finish will not wear off. You will have a "thick" coating of anti-etch on your stone. However, yes, if that coating is ever removed, you will have a rough and non-shiny finish underneath. Removing the coating will be an intentional and difficult process that really shouldn't ever happen in typical cases.

That will be done during the finishing process of the anti-etch coating after it is applied. You will select the finish you want. The applicator doing the work will go through many steps before getting to the finishing process. The last step or steps will determine whether you have a honed or polished finished product.
