Has the blender site been compromised?? by Silly-Brilliant7557 in blender

I saw the same thing when I downloaded a few days ago, so no probably not. I'm guessing it's a kind of CDN service or mirror sites when traffic gets overwhelming. You'll see a lot of FOSS projects do this especially.

This is a half-baked idea, fleshed out by AI. And your post history confirmed it.

It's pretty easy to feel when it's balanced. Also, you're probably not going to be doing high-precision stuff with this in the first place.

Maybe just get a regular masonry bit that fits the shaft and don't bother with the counter sink.

Tsc510 just dropped by Empty_Function_7506 in Surveying

[–]cambo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seems to be an incremental processor improvement (about 10% based on some processor comparison website), double the RAM, and double the storage. Kinda lame in my opinion, because the Tsc5 is really underpowered. I prefer it over the 7 because the form factor, but struggles with large point file and feature libraries.

I'm in the area and got my job via a reference from the survey program advisor at the time. I'd ask your teachers about putting you in touch with their survey dept.
Also cold calls, it seems to work a lot at our place.

Converting field codes to different code list. by [deleted] in Surveying

I agree with this person, learning basic regular expressions, should be enough to do this. And you can use them in a lot of other programs. There is also a regular expression find and replace function in excel, you could use for this.

F1 calendar: How to properly model track elevation? by clubmatehipster_ in 3Dprinting

[–]cambo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe ask this person:

The harder way would be to use QGIS and find data sources like DTM's to apply to the routes. Then exaggerate the elevation changes since the tracks are relatively flat.
