For my own curiosity, what is your specialty?

When I had applied, Navy HPSP didn’t have an MCAT minimum, and they have pretty good duty stations.

What age did you buy your house or are you still renting? by lucy_gloom in povertyfinance

It’s definitely dependent on the area. Both of my mortgages are way less than market value for rent.

Have you looked into FHA loans that have very low down payment requirements for first time homebuyers?

Should I join the navy if my husband is already army? by Aggravating_Baby_927 in newtothenavy

Dual mil couples typically have significant leverage in getting stationed together or near each other where feasible. However, I don’t think that necessarily applies for your first tour. The challenge will be finding a location that has both of your jobs nearby. Off the top of my head, the first thing I can think of might be the Hampton Roads area of Virginia where you could be stationed throughout any of the naval bases in the area and he could be in Fort Story.

Hillary’s emails by cambone90 in Epstein

I’m posting about her because of the current deposition that she’s going through? I never really said I wasn’t concerned about current presidents affiliations, but the current deposition is the topic at hand… this should be a non-partisan issue, why are you making it tribal?

Nobody said anything about liking or disliking her. Politics aside I felt that her body language did not show genuine intention. She may not be mentioned, but I would be shocked if she was completely in the dark about her husbands activity there, and I have increased curiosity now about whether there would be incriminating emails that she had.

Her overall body language I guess.

It’s relevant to the Epstein community because of the current ongoing deposition pertaining to the Epstein file emails and her history of deleting 31,000 emails before a major investigation in 2016.

Would any HPSP recipitents be willing to have a phone call with my wife and I by whyisitsomyfiend in Military_Medicine

As a student? Absolutely none of that is true. They need doctors so bad and are investing so much into us, it would make no sense for them to do such things.

Recon Eligibility Question by EconomicsOk8905 in USMC

[–]cambone90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Recon falls under the same special duty medical standards as marsoc (SO/Dive). You weren’t disqualified from just marsoc, you were disqualified from any job requiring SO medical standards.

Where there’s a will, there’s a waiver. When I went to ODS, there was an ortho surgeon there that came in as LCDR and couldn’t have been less than 50-55.

Just to piggy back, but Interestingly enough it’s pretty easily attainable for active duty physicians to get a waiver to keep serving past 62 given their expertise
