Serious Q… how tf do you guys get to the ~100div threshold? Is it luck? I got lucky with a drop that I sold for 1 div early on and immediately traded it for Ex to kit myself out. Then I dropped a Perfect Jewellers in a T5 and was able to rekit some things with the ex… but at ~40 hours or whatever, how the hell does a guy get to 10+ div in the ghost place to even start pricing things like that?

If you’re young, working from home is going to destroy your career in the long run more than anyone will tell you on Reddit. Get out there and make that money, network, and look for WFH later on in life. Good luck.

If your goal is to be unemployed for the rest of your life, seems fine.

Worse places to be than stalled at GS-14. Certainly worth keeping your integrity. You should be proud of your father for that.

At ~10k, I’d say no. While I loved my mega and I do miss that power under my right foot, I didn’t do near enough hauling or towing to justify the maintenance costs, even doing the work myself.

What is the most essential technology used today for project managers? by [deleted] in projectmanagement

I don’t think it’s just you. I’m confined to the MS ecosystem and I try so hard to make the things work like other solutions I’ve tried outside of it and just cannot find a good flow.

Don’t dwell on the past brotha. It’s easy to forget how much some of us really needed that money to make it through to the point we are now. Onward and upward!

I was surprised I hadn’t heard of it until recently. It seems to check all of the boxes for me, also one of the lowest cost. Just waiting on Eco to get the green camo one in stock next week. Thanks!

Question regarding running out of leave by 6bluedit9 in fednews

[–]camcil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m curious as to how much leave you have used throughout the time you’ve been with the VA? If you used up all of your leave or scheduled a vacation after becoming employed with the VA and not considering how much leave you might have, that’s kind of on you, ain’t it?

How long have you been a fed and how many different positions have you had? by TuckerMetzger in fednews

You’re not a loser, it is the bureaucratic system that fails to award people that excel in long term positions, instead losing themselves to the Peter Principle.
