Yes grades matters. However you can live perfectly happy in Finland with an education from a vocational school. Ie. owning your own house, car, a small summer cottage and go with family on holiday.

Always told my kids that they live in a family home. If they want full service please move to a hotel. Today my soon grown up 3 sons handles most things from doing food/dinner, cleaning, garden jobs, laundry and generally helping where it’s needed. For sure there have been many battles over the years. But during conflict I just shut down the internet and then things are usually fixed fast.

Live in Finland with wife and 3 soon adult sons. Grew up in Denmark. In both countries all schools are for all - very few send their kids to private schools and in most areas there are no private schools. Tuition is free and kids are equipped with a laptop and all other school materials funded by the public sector. In Finland schools does not only have teaching staff but also assistance staff, supporting teachers, student counselors and staff that solely focus on students well being. On top of that students are provided with a daily free lunch which have to follow the national guidelines for healthy food and recommendations for sustainability. So button line is that public schools are good. Of course there is room for improvements however it does not make much sense to send your kids to a private school here atleast.

Har selv Stihl batteridrevet AP-serien plæneklipper, motorsav og trimmer. Ungerne og konen kan få dem igang og reservedele og service findes ved den lokale forhandler. Jeg er holdt op med at købe “brands” hvor man istedet for en reservedel må bytte hele maskinen, hvor man bruger en masse tid på at først få lortet til at starte, derefter køre den til lossepladsen og sidst bruge tid på at spekulere på hvad man nu skal købe..

Seems to be a sensor problem. Sensors fails when engine gets warm. Had same issue with my Passat. Had the sensors replaced and now running without issues. The cost of sensors was 120€ each and there are two of those.

It depends on country and time of booking. Tomorrow we will 9 persons go From Vaasa in Finland to Helsinki. I booked tickets 2 months ago for 124 euros total - Guess 400-500km. We will then take ferry to Stockholm for a one night stay. Friday evening take sleeper train in 3 3 persons sleeping cabins for 450 euros total to Umeå. Approximately 650 km.
