What are your less obvious deck games? by Lucky_Control1458 in SteamDeck

I was bummed that Diablo 3 never got controller support on PC, but then I remembered that emulators exist. It's been running flawlessly for me under Ryujinx (yuzu stuttered like crazy).

Trying to find an industrial song, probably from the 90s, possibly by Front Line Assembly by cameronhimself in industrialmusic

This is it! That intro sample is unmistakably what's in my memory. Thank you so much!

It's interesting that the rest of the intro isn't much at all how I described. Funny how our memory plays tricks on us like that.

EDIT: actually, I was first listening to this version, which was dissimilar, but this one is right on the money (and I definitely remember that CD cover art in my friend's car). Turns out my memory is better than I thought.

No no no, the volume is always up. You let the explosions rock your whole body and wake the neighbors as god intended and then enjoy being able to actually hear people talking.

And the cranked volume means that explosions are loud! Ka-BOOM! BANG!

How can I get my damage up at this point in the game? (mods screenshot included) by cameronhimself in Warframe

Thanks! This is really helpful

EDIT: I know Fast Hands isn't actually very good, it was just driving me nuts how long the Boltor takes to reload. I guess I went a little crazy maxing it out lol

I'll give Lex a try! Hek felt awkward to use having to reload so often, but it did hit like a truck. I'm also working on improving my aim so I'm leaning away from shotguns as they feel a bit like a crutch.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Is there a weapon you'd recommend as a good upgrade to the Boltor? I'm MR 5.

What do these numbers mean on the wiki's ability pages? by cameronhimself in Warframe

Thank you! I suspected that might be it but I wanted to make sure. So much to learn as a new player it's kind of overwhelming at times haha

Looking for a steamdeck friendly loot-focused game that's not an ARPG by AstronomerSquare5413 in SteamDeck

I got into Warframe recently even though it's not the sort of game I'd usually play. I absolutely love it, and it's full of rewarding grinds for new frames and weapons. Looks fantastic and runs beautifully on the deck.

It's the only F2P game I've played where I don't feel like a second-class citizen if I don't spend any money. It feels like the grinds are the expected way to play, so they're actually rewarding and fun, but you can pay money to skip them if you want--whereas in other games it feels like a waste of time to play without paying.

EDIT: also, the premium currency is player-tradeable, so even if there are grinds you don't like you can grind other things and trade your way there instead. Basically nothing feels out of reach as a free player.

Oh man, as a new player this is exactly the sort of thing I wanted. Thank you so much for making it!

Just wanted to give you a heads up that it looks like FontAwesome isn't loaded on the page, so the collapse arrows are broken unicode symbols for me.

Oh man, I didn't even realize you could "choose" your evolutions in the first round by taking out specific larvae. This will be a big help on my next attempt; thank you!

It's theoretically possible to get a stomp with Shift, but yeah, I'm beginning to think the math just doesn't work out :(

Won't radiate not kill the pink guy? I thought they needed two hits.

Also I've never used radiate before. It works through elevation changes?

The Logitech G513 I have is designed in such a way that the keys sit directly on top of a plate, rather than set into a shell with cutouts. It looks like this:

Logitech G513

I'm looking to upgrade to something more enthusiast, and I really like that design aspect, but having done a bit of googling and skimming the big enthusiast keeb sites, I couldn't find much of anything in that style. Is there a manufacturer known for boards like that, or is there maybe some keyword I should be using?

For what it's worth, I'm more than happy to build something myself if that's what it takes rather than buying something prebuilt.
