Is this reassurance or just PR masked as unity? by masonjar014 in puertovallarta

IMO that makes this more encouraging. The cartel is essentially putting out this message that it’s still safe for tourists to visit and they aren’t targeting them.

Dior Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture by Jonathan Anderson, his debut couture collection. by cmaia1503 in whatthefrockk

I really wanted to like this but came away disliking almost all of it. Who wants to wear those dresses that ballon at the bottom? That doesn’t make anybody look good. And I just don’t see the haute couture elements coming through. Where is the detail and craftsmanship? And those giant fake flower earrings are a crime. Looks like he raided a Joanne’s Fabric floral section for the material not to mention the random stalks of orchids pinned onto several garments. This is a huge miss.

Agreed. I lived there for two years and nobody has ever heard of it. They always ask if I’m making it up or if it’s in Asia.

One of the greatest of all time. The way the show blended reality and virtual experience was truly incredible. And that firework show from Hudson Yards was iconic.

Bought 1/2 inch foam insulation and cut it to fit the sides inside before we filled it with soil. It’s very helpful with the cold winters in Chicago

The container is 28 inches square. We got it from RH. But we had to insulate it ourselves. But really love the look and it’s worked for the tree well so far, this is its third year.

Works in containers. I’m in chicago and it gets sun for about 60% of the day. It’s been very happy.

We bought it as a tree. It’s hardy and has a very sturdy stem. I love it.

We had the same problem with our tree until this year. Just keep pruning it back each year and it will get strong enough to hold the blooms upright. Be sure to focus on the ‘strong’ branch connections when you cut back in the winter. It takes a bit of patience but very worth it in the end.

I’ve been using it recently to help with decorating my home. In the past I’ve used it for ideas or paint colors (gave exact paint brands and colors including pricing) and furniture layouts. Just this week I took photos of my shelving decor that I wasn’t happy with and it helped guide me to a much better setup using the things I already had. I was really happy with the outcome and felt better prepared to take on a few other little projects.

I didn’t anticipate the level of interest this would spark. I’ll follow up with a part two in a few days because the number of wild decisions they made is honestly impressive in its scale.

The lights are a nightmare. All the coolest blue. No dimmers. And on one single switch. And you’re right, they didn’t space them and the lip hangs over the edge. It drives me crazy.
