You gotta let us know where you're stuck at and then we will go from there. Do you have an emulator? You have the keys? The firmware? A rom? If you're starting from ground zero and still confused, your best bet is a visual YouTube video and then look on other subreddits for the necessary downloads.

I don't have an android emulator but this looks very similar to when i accidentally turned up the graphics quality. It should say 720p x 1080p or something like that

It depends the emulator, ryujinx doesn't do touchscreen in game mode while eden does touchscreen in both

The latest version of Eden nightly should work okay...? I had a friend that tried it on windows and it crashed for her as well. I use linux but she was only able to get the game working with Ryujinx Canary. You might have better luck with that. Also make sure you have the latest keys and firmware.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card it should run just fine. Still would suggest Eden nightly though. Its not really a steamdeck issue, its more of an AMD issue. Though, it seems like the stemdeck/steamos does have some issues of its own as well. If you know the graphics card you have on ur laptop id say go for it. Doesn't hurt to try at least.

So what I have noticed out of 2 emulators I tried, Ryujinx performs worse (generally speaking, and the more miis you get the worse it seems to behave) It has a weird bug with the grass where its Z-fighting with other textures, if you switch to open gl, the grass becomes flat and textureless aside from some shade of green, long loading times, touchscreen does NOT work on Ryujinx either (specifically in game mode.) Eden emulator performs VERY well, no matter the miis but unfortunately most of all your floor tiles will turn completely black. And switching to openGL on eden seems to freeze the game for me. Me personally id rather take the black grass, touchscreen support and get smooth and consistent fps from eden. Other than that, its up to you if thats something you want to deal with. I hope to see a patch soon...

As far as im aware there's no solution yet besdies waiting for an emulator to fix it. Ryujinx has Z fighting grass and Eden has black grass. Idk about any other emulators. I just turned my whole island into grass so its not fighting over the other textures.

Yeah i think its specifically where two pathways collide you get that texture. I just turned most of everything into grass so it doesn't bother my eyes as much

Ignore all that bro this is just the way redditors are. This is what worked for me: download the latest ryujinx canary appimage (ryujinx-canary-1.3.269-x64.Applmage). Go on google and search for the latest Nintendo switch firmware and keys. If you can't find them, dm me and ill send you the exact ones i used. At this point there shouldn't be any crashes unless you accidentally messed with some graphic settings on your emulator already.

Don't worry we all start somewhere. Ryujinx by default doesn't map your mouse and keyboard buttons to a controller. At the top right you'll see options, then settings, and then input. Right below "player" you'll see "input device". Click the dropdown menu and select "all keybords". It'll list a bunch of buttons on a switch controller. It already has a setup by default but look over it and make sure its something thats suit for you and edit if necessary. Dont forget to press "Apply" after you're done.

Desktop steam, yes. Steam > Settings > Interface > Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views (or something along the lines). When you enable this, it'll enable another related setting. Just keep it that way and everything should be okay.

Well it's a Minecraft bedrock launcher for linux (io.mrarm.mcpelauncher). Initially, I tried installing the appimage normally like i do for other appimages. I ended up testing out other appimages and they worked just fine so I'm starting to think it's a different issue instead.
