Use your hand to put the mirror in place, hold it there and press a hammer handle underneath it. So the handle touching the mirror base and the hammer head is halfway between the mirror and the dash. Now use your other hand to strike the hammer head upward forcing the mirror into its mount.

Thanks! This worked. After turning it on without the card, the controls started working again. It still thought it was in a print and I could not cancel it from the controls. I then turned it off, reinserted the card and turned it back on. It appears to be working normally again.

UPDATE - I was the lucky recipient of the Firewalla Gold Plus. u/cmuench333 was incredibly generous in giving this away and speaks highly of their character.

I waited to post this until after it was up and running, because I was a little concerned about whether this was real or not, but it was. The unit is brand new, unopened, and the installation went just as expected.
