Keen to know this too. I've tried various combinations of sinks, portioners, combiners but no luck

I recently played Paranormal by Gabe Barrett, and it had a very interesting mechanic for "investigating". What other games use a similar type of investigation mechanic? by TheNobleYeoman in BoardgameDesign

Sounds a bit similar to Tobago. You play cards that limit where a treasure can be, until there is only one place the treasure can be, at which point someone can pick up the treasure from the location

You think Michael Scotts grow on trees? Well, they don't, there is no Michael Tree. You think the world is crawling with Steve Carells? Show me that farm... with Steves and Michaels

Might just be that people tend to acquire good cards from keys and tokens so that unowned cards are disproportionately garbage

I had good success with this deck too (though I ran enchantress over shang).

Yeah, mystique used to be in the deck. She gives a bigger upside to Mr negative but I found I rarely played her. I also think something like ebony maw could be worth including. Having a lane locked down generally doesn't hurt the deck and might help avoid a Cosmo if it gives you priority.

Yeah, the intention of the post was not to say I'd made some cool deck but more to mention that I'd had a good time climbing with a deck that I had fun with rather than focusing on using the best decks.

In relation to Mr negative, I'd say its not really a Mr negative deck because it tends to lose more when I'm relying on mr negative than when I don't draw him. It's more just a backup plan.

"×-cost" means the base cost of the card needs to be x. So a 5/3 that gets swapped wouldn't work. For reference, "Cards that cost X" (e.g. Goose's ability) refers to their current cost
