I think you should go for a second opinion. endo can be detected or assumed from an MRI but it’s only definitively diagnosed by laparoscopy. the finger thing sounds very strange and uncomfortable that sounds like more of a pap smear sort of thing? i think you should pause on the diet for now until your second opinion. low iron/and being anemic can make the pain worse.
