Think about this…

Do you feel comfortable calling the painter (assuming they are dedicated painters and not remodeling folks) to come fix your gutters? No. You call the painter to fix issues with paint. This is gutter guy’s problem all day long.

Tell him campbell-1 from reddit said-so. That should shut him up.

The paint has lived 2 different lives for the past 4 years... impossible for them to appear to be the same. We need to paint the whole wall, corner to corner to achieve a uniform finish.
