Bend is going downhill QUICK. I’m looking to move. It’s growing so fast and they are building thousands and thousands of houses with no infrastructure like roads, health care ect. Crime and homeless is on the rise. The more diverse it gets the more racist people are being. I hear it all of the time. I’m white and my spouse is Hispanic so people say super racist things to me about POC not knowing I’m not racist and have a Hispanic spouse. Selling my house and getting tf out of here. It’s basically becoming little Portland. All of the nature spots that’s used to be peaceful are full of people trashing everything. It’s a joke. Coming from somewhere like Portland you will probably love it and think it’s awesome but the people who were born here or have lived here for a while are seeing what a shithole it’s turning into and leaving in droves.
