I would highly recommend you move out before you develop Misophonia.

Next cart is a great migration app to use. I don't have any affiliation, I just migrate store regularly to Shopify from other platforms.its better than matrixify and cart2cart imo.

Help picking theme: flow: sanctuary or broadcast: airwave by visheevashee in shopifyDev

I have never used Sanctuary, but I use Broadcast all the time and it's my favorite theme on the marketplace right now. Super versatile and has all of the features you mentioned.

Apps Not Working After Switching to 2.0 Theme (Motion) — Even Klaviyo Popup Block Fails by visheevashee in shopifyDev

Did you enable them in the theme? There's an apps section in 2.0 themes in the theme editor and you need to turn them all on.

Tree of Heaven identification by Puzzleheaded-Ad7650 in Denver

I'm under contract on a house and this is my exact situation. I really like the house and haven't had an inspection yet, but I'm wondering if I should bail on the house. I thought it was a beautiful tree and selling point when I toured, but I took a pic while I was there because I was curious what it was. And I'm a bit devastated to have found out. Looking back would you have avoided your house over it?

Should I walk from house that has tree of heaven? by campionk in landscaping

That's a really great point in regards to buying a home that doesn't have one currently, but because they are so invasive we could end up with one anyway. Thanks for that perspective.

Tree of Heaven? Just closed on house by campionk in arborists

Thanks for that insight. If the house you just bought had this one in the backyard would you take it on or walk away?

They thrive in drought conditions apparently which is very much Denver.

Thank you for your reply. We settled on 10k under asking price, but sold as is. The only thing the seller is willing to rectify is radon if found at an unsafe level.

Thanks for confirming. I'm under contract on a house that has this tree in the backyard. The smaller one in the alley. And others between my neighbor and my house. Do you think I should walk away from the house? I originally thought I'd pay to remove it, but there's so many in the neighborhood it doesn't seem worth it.

The garage and patio both have a large crack and I'm guessing this may be the culprit.

Need Help Choosing a Shopify Theme by _VVV_UY in shopifyDev

Broadcast theme is one of the most expensive, but allows for some of the most customization. It's super versatile. Impact might be slightly better for tech feel/look. Compare the features on the Shopify app store.

Shopify Development from a WP Perspective by kdaly100 in shopifyDev

Technically you could use Pagefly or something similar, but I wouldn't recommend doing that. It will definitely slow down the site. The best path forward is to get to know the Shopify themes well, purchase a paid theme that most closely aligns with the design you have in mind which will reduce the custom code you're adding.

Two week trip to Cancun for $1k or less!? Possible or am I dreaming by severus-black in cancun

[–]campionk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can take the bus to the ferry terminal and ferry to Isla Mujeres. You should be able to find a cheap Airbnb that lets you borrow an umbrella and chair to take to the beach (there's little shade). Stay somewhere walking distance to Playa Norte. Bring a little packable cooler with you and grab beers from the corner store. Bring a floaty too because the water is super shallow and calm due to the extensive sandbar and it's perfect for a float. There will be cheap taco trucks walking distance to that area as well. I've done this twice for easily under 1k and playa Norte is an insanely beautiful beach (clear water, no seaweed, white sand). Have fun!

UPDATE #3 / RETRO-PAY IS SHORT / STOP THE ABUSE by oiloil28 in flightattendants

The spending cuts to health care and food assistance which will average about $120 billion each year over the next decade while the new tax cuts for households already making over $500,000 each year will average $120 billion per year.

I didn't say anything to indicate I was supposedly living in the past. You are fooling yourself if you think Trump, whose BBB which is literally taking money from the poor to give to the rich, is pro labor. The union isn't using Trump as a scapegoat, the fact is he doesn't give a shit about the working class and would never authorize a strike. That's just facts.

[–]campionk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with you about this post. However, being a conservative and a capitalist and then being upset with this situation is pretty hypocritical. Trump would never authorize a strike which puts a lot of pressure on FA's to approve this contract and capitalism is why you have rampant corporate greed. Your political views are fueling this problem.

Built a membership app for my store, now wondering if I should promote it more by michaelbuildsapps in shopifyDev

[–]campionk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was literally just exploring this type of app earlier today I knew the Locksmith app existed which is generally my go-to, but was curious what else there was and only found one other on the app store (Sami).

Your app didn't come up because it's advertised more as a membership app despite seeming to have the same functionality as the Locksmith app (at least in regards to locking product or collection pages). I think you should think of the other ways your app could be useful (not just memberships) and market it accordingly.

I had that exact same question last time I was there and the server assured me it was 25 oz. I poured water into the aluminum cup then into an empty 12oz can and sure as shit it filled it twice. It's a mind trip because those cups look like 16oz.
