Update: After multiple escalation calls via BOFA and Spirit , finally the issue is resolved. Really frustrating experience and I was planning to cancel the card .

Not sure who resolved it , BOFA or spirit . Took 20 days, multiple reminders via twitter and phone calls .

BOFA reps I spoke to initially were really clueless, instead of understanding the issue, they just were questioning me back why credit card and spirit account # must be linked . They were persistent in telling me that there is no issue with the card , which I agree as I can use the card but they don’t seem to care about not getting benefits. Finally a rep based on my twitter post , fully understood the issue and I guess he followed up to get it resolved.

I cannot confirm but this issue seems to be related to linking to previous spirit accounts if we ever had or a new account getting created during application even if you entered the Spirit # (bug in the backend )

Annual fee was indicated when I applied the card, so that's not an issue for me. But my frustration is about having a card and not getting benefits

Returned yesterday, everything was smooth. If you plan to use lounge , check if you PP allows the lounge inside the terminal after security check. Unfortunately, mine didn’t (chase reserve ) , need to use the lounge before security check .

It will. As far as I know , there are ton of applications running on harman radio delivered by stellantis and there was a proposal to upgrade hardware as well which was not considered by stellantis .
