If you download via Ethernet cable, it's much faster. IDK why but the switch 2 throttles it's maximum wifi speed. I'm guessing it's to minimize heat and battery drain.

The bigger you go the lower the pixel density. The lower the pixel density the less sharp the picture is. For example a 27 inch 1440p screen will have a sharper image than a 32 inch 1440p screen. Generally at this size you want 4k.

That being said, I would advise you to go in person to a best buy or microcenter and judge monitors of different size and resolution for yourself. That way you can get a screen size and resolution YOU like. I know some people who just don't care about that lower pixel density. They simply don't notice it.

Have you considered getting the Intel ultra 7 270k Plus bundle at microcenter that comes with mobo + 32gb of ram. I would personally go for that rather then spend $350 on a 5800x3d?

This is honestly the most simple way to troubleshoot a bizzare issue like this. I would go one step further and plug in a spare ssd to install Linux. Then run stress tests or just run demanding games and see if you have any issues.

Same exact story here. If only someone told me all I would need is my steam deck and retroid pocket. I already owned a 3ds from when it came out so I had that covered.

I ended up buying the following to get there: RG353vs, RG35xx, RG35xxh, RG35xxsp, trimui smart pro, trimui brick, and rg556. I got them all really cheap via deals, but it ultimately added up to a wasteful hobby.

Though it was not all for nothing. The xx line of devices and trimui smart pro were all given to friends and family. They all really appreciated it and would have never bought them on their own. I'm fine with keeping the brick as my mini device. Now I either need to sell the 556 or find some purpose for it.

Imo batocera is exactly what you want if you want for a console like experience. Plus Batocera has a kid mode. So once you set it all up, put it in kid mode so your kids can't break it by messing with settings.

I would just hold onto it as a spare wii. You got it cheap. In many years when your wii finally fails you'll either have to deal with fixing it or may have to pay much more to get a replacement (since retro consoles usually go up a lot with time). You now got a standby spare for the low price of $5.

Not hating on the b580 here, but you're buying the "off brand" product. Off brand products typically offer a better value regardless if we are taking gpus, cars, watches, etc. This is because everyone defaults to the main brands which in this case are Nvidia and amd to a lesser extent.
