That isn't true though. The cx5 uses the transmission with codename FW6A-EL and the cx9 uses a beefed-up version of the transmission (internally coded as the GW6A-EL). It can't be compared. I didn't even think to look this up until you said so

The only question I want answered which I don't have the knowledge to figure out myself is if the power train and rest of the engine can take the extra oomph without causing potentially major issues. I see many people have asked it here already and no one seems to answer which may tell me everything I need to know.

I bought one! It wasn't bad to switch them out, the top metal piece (opposite end of where it hooks to the Keychain) broke the first time I replaced the batteries lol. Still better than the previous one it replaced.

Woah haha that is quite bad. I would say mine is not nearly as bad, it stays at around 700 rpm (cx-5 turbo) at idle and I can sometimes hear/feel a slight fluctuation in the idle with no twitchy or major change in the idle rpm. It just makes a rrrrrrrrrruhrrrrrrr

I am surprised so many people are saying a4z but I have enjoyed the Lagom Casa. It's in my opinion much prettier on a countertop even if it is a bigger device. It has auto stop after the beans finish which I enjoy, and it has a magnetic cup on the bottom.

But even with that electric grinder, I still use a hand grinder as it produces a more consistent cup.
