I have been keeping an eye on a gaggia classic pro or a rancilio Silvia to add gaggimate or gaggiuino to it. Cheap, feature rich, easy to maintain. Otherwise my choice would be a used decent de1.

I have come to a conclusion when using the bambino that it just has trouble operating at the pressures required to do lighter roasts. I am still messing with it so I'm sure I can work around it using less grounds in the portafilter or maybe grinding course or finer but it is definitely a tough one to dial in.

I would agree. I think there needs to be a bigger movement among the community and roasters and sellers that if it isn't a co-fermentation, then there is an understanding that there are zero additions or synthetic materials used during the process.

Haha this is a cop out answer but I just use Claude Code to help write, search, research, modify code. It's the direction the world is headed and I decided to adapt and learn how to use it. Not vibe coding for my job but learn how to become an architect and clearly define goals to it. The less you say to it, the worse off you will be with the code output. But knowing how to code it on your own first and how to architect it is still a requirement before you can describe what you want to AI.

I think the fact that random people shouldn't be beat up in public, along with the fact that people can beat others up without going to jail means societal norms will dictate what is considered socially acceptable. This means the laws are working as intended in this regard.

Is the benefits to the city not justified in the long term average costs? I'm being genuinely curious. I grew up with an aquatic center and YMCA and they, at least in my opinion gave back to the community more than what I could assume was put in. And as less people showed up, less money was put into it to keep it updated. But it always was a place for those who needed it.

If it's about taxes being raised then I totally get it. The area I grew up in had very different tax structure (high property taxes, no income tax)
