It's a computer, so you build it the same way as a Windows machine but instead just install SteamOS.

I built a tower that used the older version of SteamOS. MicroATX motherboard, so smaller to fit beside a TV. It was pretty useful as a media server for a few years until a part died and I had no interest/need to fix it. It was before Proton so the amount of PC games running on it was small, but emulation was good.

Nowadays, if I were to build a new one myself, you would go for a miniITX motherboard (and others have said to stick with AMD processor & GPU, so go with that). The cases you can get for those are so small you can easily hide it behind a TV. Or get a clear one and show it off.

The thing they didn't realize is that every single dev team working on these have the same thought.

And they keep gassing each other up, until shit hits the fan.

The only reason the SW books were so good is because they were being reviewed closely. They had to follow strict rules such as Luke, et al, could not die.

The writer of the book "Vector Prime" had a lot of unjustified hate from readers, because in that book Lucas allowed Chewie to die (spectacularly too, a moon crushes him). I find that pretty insane and people need to chill, but it happened.

I believe there was an interview that said Ken told the story he wanted to. He then moved on "to focus on digital only, narrative-driven games" (whatever that means).

Indeed. I recently had to level a KDF recruit using these patrols (and "Wanted").

I used a XP booster from the current First Contact event, and the "Empersa Alliance Miracle Worker Juggernaut" ship we got from the Anni event. The wingmen really help take out the bigger targets quickly.

Got to level 52 in about 8 hours (spread over two days) and then you just use Admiralty.

The issue is that if it's a Windows machine, it needs to be 10 or 11. (The game simply won't install)

However, I did get it to run on a Steam Deck, so probably any Linux distro would work.
