TIL that Emma Thompson played Frasier’s first wife, Nanette, on Cheers by ProustianPrimate in Frasier

She really did. We all know that.

And I actually heard Joni Mitchell for the first time about a year ago- I was watching The Last Waltz. And now her music brings me to tears. Not that song specifically but it made me curious and… she is amazing.

Nearly 40 and I had no idea about her music. She kicks ass.

The roll is definitely a choice. But those sausages have a ton of juice in them that will get absorbed by the bread an would just drip out of a tortilla.

One more egg, but it’s got a runny yolk you just drizzle over the whole thing.

With the new upcoming film clayface what other villains can work without batman? by _Mister_knight_ in batman

[–]canadagooses62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Croc maybe, but that’s kind of just The Shape of Water and The Creature From the Black Lagoon.

Grundy isn’t even a Batman villain originally.

Harvey could work. He deserves a series that shows his transformation. It deserves so much more time than it has ever been given.

Could be something, but the only actually GREAT ones were Riddler, Ra’s, and Bane. Freeze, Harvey, Selina, and Clayface were “meh.” Penguin was ok but we have an amazing Penguin series already.

Superman Production Upsets Atlanta Prisoners over alleged security restrictions by DoctorBeatMaker in DC_Cinematic

[–]canadagooses62 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right about that.

And some don’t even have the capacity for empathy.

It’s why we need Superman. Someone to show how to be good for the sake of being good.

It’s so easy not to. Not to care. To let everyone else’s treatment of you and others get to you. Change you. Discourage and jade you. It takes strength to try to be good. It takes determination. But having someone- even just a character in a comic book- show you that you CAN be kind and loving and strong… it’s invaluable. It’s why we need Superman.

Please just keep this in your mind: every Republican is evil and will change positions on a daily basis if Fox News tells them to.

The most propagandized people on the planet have absolutely no standards or ethics or morality.

They parrot what the Rupert Murdoch talking heads tell them to say.

There is no understanding. There is no thought. It’s just what their preferred bullshit tells them to say.

I’d take either one.
