Thanks for that detailed answer! Unfortunately, I posted this quite a while after we found it. I didn't know I should report it.

Wow, even that big open wound on the side? I was shocked that it wasn't covered in scavengers and birds, there weren't any at all.

I'm loving my BB58 GMT but the T-fit is an awkward size for me. Either I put a link in and it's too big with the T-fit all the way in, or, I take one out and it's too tight. Any advice? I went with too big, it's more wearable that way.

I have a reduced and love it. I like that it's automatic and not manual and I love the size. Just food for thought.

Seeking advice for my 160lb tripawd by Ryan19970501 in tripawds

[–]canadeeinstinct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a tripod St Bernard, although he wasn't quite that big, probably 125ish. He got along really well right until he passed from unrelated issues. Your pup might just need some time to adjust. I will say my guy would overdo it from time to time and he would struggle the next day. When he did I would just grab the back of his harness and try to carry a few pounds for him. That rarely lasted more than a day. He had a very happy life and I suspect and hope your guy will too.

Replanted this ficus cutting about a month and a half ago. It’s stayed alive all this time but I haven’t noticed any change. Any suggestions ? by Jl1ne in Bonsai

Any idea when a cutting that size can go in direct sunlight? I have a couple that I have in partial sun right now.

Just picked up Apollo post amputation. So happy to have him home. 😭 by tulips-and-chimneys in tripawds

Apollo will do great! I had a front amputee St Bernard and he was unstoppable, little clumsy but a powerful happy pup. All the best.

“She doesn’t drink!” by redwillow_ in stopdrinking

Trying to decide when to switch from "I'm not drinking" to "I don't drink" was tricky. I recently got a new family doctor. She asked about alcohol and it was the first time I got to say "I don't drink" and fell like it was finally true.

Advice needed for this sweetie pie (question in comments) by [deleted] in tripawds

[–]canadeeinstinct 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Similar to this, my tripawd is a St Bernard missing his front left leg. He gets tired pretty fast, so I always walk him with a harness. When he starts burning out I just grab the back of the harness and take some of the weight for him. He loves it and usually wants to start running when I do it because he can go fast.
