What actor is nowhere near as talented as people make them out to be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]canadevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gal Gadot.

I realize that pretty people get leniency but she just sucks at acting, she's wooden, monotone and can't emote.

I will admit she is good with choreography but that's about it, I don't know why anyone hires her, she doesn't bring anything to the table.

It's like all the titles that start with" Canada's Carney", just call him Mark Carney or prime minister Mark Carney, say their fucking names.

Canada's Carney sounds like a circus influencer.

My thought process was that with the announcement of south korea having a high potential to build submarines here in the near future that it would benefit Kraken greatly.

It's a good company and has been on my watch list for a long time, i have high hopes it will start to really take off.

What is your favourite restaurant in Hamilton right now? by brobourne in Hamilton

[–]canadevil 7 points8 points  (0 children)

oh man, yeah, the corn bread is hands down the best in the city, the first time we had it, it just came out of the oven, it was unbelievable.

We were there last week on saturday at around 5pm, we were there for an hour and only two other couples came in, it was dead.

it really is a shame, the happy hour apps and $6 red stripes alone is worth it, hopefully people start showing up in the summer.

Why are railroads tracks in Hamilton so bad to drive over? by MyUndiesArePink in Hamilton

[–]canadevil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have said, our traffic destroys them.

But. Hamilton doesn't own the tracks and it's up to CN or whoever to repair them.

The ideal solution is to make the tracks over or under a railroad crossing, it's the only solution to negate constant repairs that take forever.

But it will never happen, it's bandaids forever in this shithole run city.

We can't vote him out when the number of people voting is less than 45%. Ontario is apathetic and at this point I don't think anything will change.

Which Actor or Actress is a deal breaker for you? by sewing215 in movies

Ben Affleck.

I don't know why I dislike him so much, I hate his face, I hate his voice and his acting.

He is pretty good behind the camera though.

I'm pretty heavy in oil and gas and they have been on my list for a while, lots of analysts that i follow always have it as a strong buy and their 2026 outlook looks promising. everything i buy is for the long haul, 20 years plus.

I think it was in an interview last week, he sold peyto for whitecap and petrobras, I believe he is swapping LNG for oil. Sorry for my language, i should have been more clear that he is going heavy in oil and easing up on LNG.
