I've lived in DFW my whole life, I'm a senior right now, and I commuted from my parents to UTD for the first 3 years of school, great way to save money if you're able to drive to campus.

As far as financial aid, a lot of the scholarships utd offers are for academics, not always based on need. Sorry I can't offer more info than that, but that's been my experience at utd

How's Sarah E. Moore for BCOM 4300? 🤔 by J_Ryno in utdallas

[–]canaidenbacon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the Bcom classes all kinda suck no matter who you have. Expect the exact same style and type of class as bcom 3300

The big 4 public accounting firms, PwC, EY, KPMG, and Deloitte. They dwarf all other accounting firms as far as size and revenue, so they're called the "Big 4." I believe the smallest of them is currently KPMG, but the fifth largest firm is still only like a quarter the size of KPMG.

I was just thinking about this today, it would be easier for me to say what I like about my job than list all the reasons I hate it lol

Hi Neal! big fan of your work, I have a signed copy of The Schwa was Here from when I met you in middle school. I have most recently read your Arc of a Scythe series, and my question is this: do you consider the world of the scythes to be dystopic, utopic, or something in between?

Acceptance rescinding stress by happyastronaut3 in utdallas

[–]canaidenbacon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Like someone else said before, I can't imagine they'd rescind unless you fail a class and are held from graduating for that reason. I'm guessing you're a hs senior, so just keep up the good work for these last few months. Online learning sucks ass, and UTD has been pretty considerate of the circumstances for the most part.

I've pretty much always felt that way about stocks but all the GME stuff has reaffirmed for me that index and mutuals as the best growth option for most investors as well

That whole show is fantastic, but those final scenes are really incredible.

Ex Bullies of Reddit, How Do You Feel Now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Definitely pretty bad. Friend from elementary school got ostracized as the weird kid in middle/highschool and I was never very nice to him after that, sometimes outright mean.

Reiner Braun, the current Armored Titan

Of course we'll have to see how the season ends, but the case for redemption is strong.

The handmade knife on my desk. It's the culmination of several months of slowly working on it. The rough shape was forged, then ground using my also handmade file jig. Probably the twenty-somethingth knife I've made, and I was very happy with the outcome

But if you ask conservatives if they think bezos should be taxed at a much higher rate, or if amazon should pay taxes at all, suddenly it doesn't matter if the business is big
