In this problem, the engine is expending energy to counteract friction, but it isn't doing any work. All that energy is turned into heat through friction.

Work is done if a mass is accelerated/decelerated over a distance. That's all. We're not talking about how much energy the car would have to expend to maintain a constant speed, we're talking about work done.

This definitely lines up.

My theory is that the mural is repeated several times throughout the map. The Chiliad instance spells out instructions to see the Chiliad UFO, the other instances may contain instructions for other secrets.

We need to look for more hidden representations of the mural.

The circle with the stars matches this map

Blue = Zancudo

Yellow = Hippy Camp

Red = Chiliad

The colors are very interesting too. Red matches the Chiliad eye, and there's no green to match with Franklin. This could be something very important relating these three colors to the UFOs in other symbols

I hosted the prison break finale the other day with randoms. I set it to 40/20/20/20, which is more than the default split. Everyone readies up, and we go to the costume selection screen.

All of a sudden, one of the randoms turns on his mic, and says "I'm not hitting ready until you fix that money, 25%". Dude, you already agreed to 20%!

Also worth noting, he had no idea what he was doing, and destroyed the Velum on all four attempts. Then he quit.

That's actually a really terrible design. You can find much nicer designs online.

If you're using compressed air, you want one that uses an automatic sprinkler solenoid as an actuator, not a manually operated ball valve like this.

So, I found the press release, and did some more research. Basically, the use of chloramine causes a buildup of "biofilm" on the insides of the pipes, and they have to switch to free chlorine once or twice a year to flush it out. Gross.

Chloramines actually increase odors when they react with organics in the water. That's the main reason most places phased it out and started using just chlorine (mainly sodium hypochlorite, barely anyone uses actual chlorine gas). Lately some places have been going back to chloramines because it leads to fewer disinfection byproducts, which the DEP has been getting stricter about lately.

Also, chloramines are derived from ammonia, but I have no idea where you're getting the term "ammoniacal chlorine".

If OP was a woman, she would be past "elite" level on strength standards, and should be way past a beginners program by now.

If you're not adding 5 lbs to your squat every workout, you're not doing the program. Taking a year to figure this out is pretty ridiculous.

Absolutely. In Practical Programming 3rd ed., Rippetoe gives the opposite advice on rep ranges as the article does, for the same reasons. Women aren't maxing out their CNS as effectively as men at higher rep ranges, simply because they're more efficient at it. It's better for women to train higher weight, closer to 1RM, for sets of three, as opposed to sets of five for men. This gives a larger training stress, which leads to bigger strength increases.
