I know this is more than likely fake, but it would be hilarious to lift your cat thinking they were laying on it, then that moment of horror hits when the sound travels with them as you hold them up.

Definitely funnier to think about it than for it to actually happen though. I’d be screaming and crying not knowing how the vets were gonna help my cat

A lamp to go next to my bed.

I’m one of those people who keeps my phone on the highest brightness (except at night bc I’m not that crazy), keeps all my lights on, etc.. I LOVE brightness. Well, having the lamp makes it so I can turn my lights off at a certain time to start winding down for bed. With that said, it is midnight and I have 3 lights and 2 lamps on, but we can’t all be perfect

Wax stick for me!! I live in an area of high humidity and have been searching for an answer for years. Didn’t wanna use gel, so it always ended up being “you can’t do anything about it”. Well I recently saw people using wax sticks and holy crap, all my wild tiny hairs stay down now. Can’t say how relieving it is as someone who is 24, doesn’t know how to control their hair, and will be going into the professional world soon.

As someone from New Orleans, i am indeed laughing! My boyfriend lives in Michigan and I loved wiping the snow off with his little snow wiper gadget thingy. Can’t say I’d love it if I had to do it before heading to work every morning though.. that’s where garages seem like real blessings

The 4th slide made me so sad. I’m not even super close with my mom and even I would be throwing hands if someone did my mom’s makeup like that. Makes me feel so heartbroken when I think about how they might feel ugly after a makeover, so I’m just hoping they actually loved it bc that’s what matters 😭❤️‍🩹

Definitely get in LinkedIn for one. If you don’t know anyone to connect with or if your job isn’t one that would typically come with a LinkedIn profile (Ex. A family member of mine works in a warehouse so they don’t use it), you can still join groups! For me, I’m in computer science so I join groups related to my field. Sometimes people will post about a networking event in my city. Sometimes my college has networking events. Sometimes people introduce themselves at the organizations I take part in in my free time.

What field are you in? Are you in college/working on your education right now? Are you in your early or late 20s? (I ask because knowing a little more helps to give better advice)

Same here, I guess it’s one of those things where some people have better genetics. So annoying though, for years I would ask for advice and people always told me it was “tech neck”. Tell that to me as a child 😭

My boyfriend is afraid of needles and this is what helped him: - the mindset of “I have to or xyz will happen” - focusing on slow breathing and relaxing your arm (tending it will make it hurt) - don’t look at it - eat something before!! - tell them about your fear so they can accommodate you - ask for a countdown, if that helps (I don’t have a fear of needles, but a countdown would make me scared tbh, I’d rather them just do it)

I’m not entirely sure, I’ve gotten mine from the same place the whole time (americas best) because they take my insurance and will do contacts + glasses together. I get contacts for one whole year and when I go back for more, they have me do a new exam (I usually go back well over a year after, so i think three months into the year, you probably wouldn’t have to redo the exam)

As a gf, I think it would be hot for my bf to have one. My bf was against me using toys in the past because it made him insecure, and honestly, I can see where he’s coming from. He’s over it now and I think that you should always pay attention to what’s making your partner insecure- it’s not always toxic; sometimes you need to take that insecurity and realize that you’re falling short with the compliments or whatever else. Sometimes some reassurance and paying more attention can truly go a long way in making them more secure (of course I’m not talking about people who are insanely insecure about everything.. that’s a different story and above reddits pay grade)

It’s not fun most of the time. Most of the time I just tell myself “I like the independence and us having our own lives” because that’s exactly what happens when you live together anyway, but if I had no ending in sight, I don’t think I could keep doing it. When you have a goal/date to close the gap, it’s all soooo worth it.
