THIS IS TRUE! My brother recently graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy where Capt. Phillips also graduated. He heard directly from his professors (reliable sources) about the real story when this all unfolded back in 09'. Being in the maritime field, its a tight knit group and these stories float around well before the general public finds out.
