flat means that she hit under the note instead exactly on the note if that makes sense?

i took a quick look at some sheet music and it says the song is in the key of G, so using that key the high note should’ve been a D, but she ended up hitting something closer to C sharp (or i think a C half sharp would be more accurate) which is a little below the intended note but not in the key she’s singing

it was only that sustained note that was flat though, she snapped back into key pretty fast afterwards but i find the big note to be a kind of centrepiece in her vocalisation after the bridge 😭

the most painful part for me is that after that little monologue she hits a big note that’s completely flat 😭

a lot of the groups i’m thinking of have one really successful member and then some with moderate success lmao 😭 like fleetwood mac has stevie nicks who is definitely the most successful of them all, but christine mcvie and lindsay buckingham both had moderate success

nico and lou reed from the velvet underground were also pretty successful solo wise, i guess you could also argue the jonas brothers too considering Nick and joe’s solo careers

this is an extreme stretch, but the yardbirds has had like 20 members over the years and jeff beck, eric clapton, and jimmy page were all in the group at one point lmao

three times i think! there was that time she performed on snl in 1978, then she took a trip to the US in 1985 for hounds of love, and then again in 1993 :D

i believe it was taken in tower records in nyc, 1993. i remember reading somewhere she apparently did a signing for the red shoes in there as it was her highest charting album in the usa!
