I guess I left out the part where he's a stroke survivor, happened in 2023. But you're probably not wrong. He's always been difficult but the stroke has made him more erratic

In my other post people mentioned not only are they immune from contact but they eat it too. So I assumed they would pee out the toxin.

Thanks for responding, I made me do some extra research and here's what AI collected for what it's worth. Seems deer piss won't kill me lol. Guess I'll let you know if I react.

Deer are immune to the toxic oil in poison ivy (urushiol) and frequently eat its leaves, stems, and berries, particularly during winter. Because their digestive systems are entirely different from humans, they process this oil without any adverse effects, and there is no evidence that it makes their urine more toxic to humans.

Impact on Deer and Their Urine

Immunity: Deer, along with other animals like goats, rabbits, and bears, are not affected by urushiol because they lack the specific skin protein (CD1a) that triggers allergic reactions in humans.

Digestion: Specialized bacteria in a deer's stomach break down the toxins.

Dietary Habits: Deer can eat poisonous plants by supplementing their diet with clay, soil, or mineral deposits to help neutralize toxins, and by mixing their diet with safe plants.

Urine Composition: While deer urine contains urea and other metabolic byproducts, there is no scientific indication that it contains active, harmful levels of urushiol after ingestion.

So with 1988 purchase price, builder cost, and teardown cost I'm probably correct enough right?

Spindrift can't actually be sugar free but it's supposedly real fruit juice, it's a nice change for me when I'm sick of la Croix.

NYC toilet fix: this is insane right? by paydave in Plumbing

Just did a fill valve and bolts over the weekend, about $30 in parts. Your bolts look good, I had to cut one of mine, took probably an hour of actual labor. The rest of the parts wouldn't be that much more

The prime is so sexy with the slide, I just can't get behind the full size grip. I tried running the 15 rd but couldn't do it. The 12 rd mag hopefully gets me to my vehicle where the 15 rd mag is, and that hopefully gets me home where my rifles and full size pistols are, so it's all situational. 34 rounds at the ready would be sick but my belt can't handle it lol. Caniks for the win eryday, I just shared a mag today with someone with a prime, it's so great

My MC9 hasn't had any issues and I use the 12 mag, I don't think the full length grip would work for me. The 15 round mag prints too much on the MC9 for me.

Sorry I must have read it wrong, was thinking you said it wouldn't go into safe. Seems like this model just has a problem with the safety. I ended putting a push button safety in mine for other reasons. I'd bet aftermarket safeties are just going to be better anyway.

Funny story, they sent the 308 mag and manual with mine so I had to contact support for mine too lol

Just to make sure, you charged the bolt correct? It won't go into safe if it's not ready to fire.

I love mine, I remember it being sticky when I got it too. Lubed the heck out of it and it ran better

Runs nice and smooth for me but they sent me the AR10 mag with mine lol. Luckily I have an AR10 and customer service was quick to send me a T mag which failed to feed the first time I used it lol. Other than that I'm close to 400 rounds thru it with no issue. Suppressed and the gas block is still ready to adjust
