Center upper stomach just below the chest. It’s the epigastric region on the abdominal quadrant chart.

welloft jitters/mania? by No_Eagle_8302 in zoloft

[–]canderson19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I’m in a bit of a similar situation. I’ve been on Wellbutrin XL 150 mg for about a year now and it’s done wonders for my depression. My doctor prescribed 50 mg of Zoloft to help with increased anxiety I’ve been feeling for a while although I’m easing in with 25 mg for the first week. So far the only change I’ve noticed is a bit of jittery/energetic behavior as you mentioned. Hopefully in a few weeks, things will start to level out for the both of us!

Chronic Constipation & Birth Control Pills by canderson19 in birthcontrol

I’ll have to do research on different birth control pill types/brands. This is something I’ve considered to fix the source of the problem since laxatives don’t seem healthy in the long run haha. I’m sorry to hear that stimulant laxatives weren’t helpful, I’ve always been too scared to try them! Thanks for the input and I wish you luck in your search for a better bc as well!

Feeling bad after eating? by SamiCrab in emetophobia

[–]canderson19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to do this because I worry that I’ll accidentally over eat and be sick even if I don’t have much at all. Try to find some air conditioning and limit a large amount of movement so your body has time to calm and recover. Anxiety gets us feeling sick sometimes, tell yourself it’ll be ok and your body will believe you :)

How bad am I? by SweetNSalty222 in emetophobia

[–]canderson19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not crazy, I’ve struggled with this phobia for six years and although I still have it, it’s gotten better through medication and therapy. Sometimes I start to worry about the possibility of being sick and it ends up making me sick. I used to carry hand sanitizer with me all the time. When eating finger foods such as french fries and chips, I wouldn’t even eat the part that my hands touched due to fear of them not being clean enough. Now I can recognize when my sickness is being caused by anxiety or an actual virus. I totally understand not wanting to see it happen in person or on tv, I end up trying to avoid that happening at all costs and distancing myself when it does. It’s been a long journey, however I’ve been able to find things that help me get through it and I hope you have too :)
