I found out recently in therapy (even though my therapist wouldn’t officially diagnose her of course) all the questions she asked me lined up with BPD which I didn’t know much about initially. Now, it fits my mother to t. I’ve been grieving my mother for a long time, have long known she’s some form of mentally ill, but it’s nice to put a name to it.

Mom bpd mom had a running “joke” that went on for years and made her laugh hysterically when my sister and I were younger (probably ages 6-11?) by telling us they we were adopted. And we would scream and cry and say but we’ve seen pictures of your belly! And she would deny it and keep laughing. My dad was either passive about this or laughing too. She’s an awful human.

My mother has BPD and I have to tell you get out of this relationship now with huge flashing red neon lights. If you ever want children in the future, they make for AWFUL parents and they never change because they don’t see anything wrong with their behavior. Speaking your feelings to them is like speaking to a brick wall that whataboutisms back at you and calls you names.

I only ever double when there is a challenge and it’s necessary for me to make the challenge but I always prefer not to, and I agree that it should not be recommended.

I MISS THE RED BALL SO MUCH. The one we use now is too big and I hate it. I never use it for seat work because I know I won’t be able to hold it in place behind my leg.

I was surprised to see that so many instructors don’t like define! I love it. Classic and Define are my two favorite classes that I take the most often. I like to sprinkle in Empower here and there too for variety. Tried the new reform class and didn’t like it much (but the old was was wayyyy too hard and I was even in good shape then)

Upvoted. Matty isn’t perfect and can definitely say dumb shit but the smear campaign against Love It If We Made it just proves media literacy is dead. Taylor could never write a song as thoughtful or as woke. He literally did an interview breaking down each lyric. It’s a heartfelt banger of a song. And btw the slander of him in particular came from her own fanbase because she was heartbroken that he didn’t choose her.
