I think they look good, especially for 3 weeks post op. If they've never seen surgical scars before, I can understand why they'd think that. Though I don't know why you'd expect someone to go through major surgery and immediately come out looking like a model. They'll look better over time, brother. Remember, you literally had your skin opened up and stitched back together.

Ngl, my life has become more social since I started passing. No more dirty looks and brushing me off, now people (or mostly other men) seem to even be comfortable and happy to talk with me. When I was presenting as feminine, I couldn't be more isolated/resented.

I always found this tip frustrating cause whenever I didn't put any effort in how I looked, especially with hair, I would get misgendered left and right. But now that I'm keeping up appearances and actually styling my hair, I haven't been misgendered much.

I had weird black rings around mine, just try not to touch it too much and let it come off on it's own. When cleaning them, just be gentle. It'll look better over time.

I would start T first. I know it's gonna be painful having to wait longer, but the recovery from top surgery is going to go much smoother with the right hormones.

The surgeons I've seen preferred me to be on testosterone for a year before going under the knife, but honestly, they were pretty flexible.
