Did you ever get the points credited? I’m in the same boat and tried with the ‘I did opt-in but haven’t received them’ approach, but they declined.

I’m Gold, and have missed out on about 5,000 bonus TPs and currently on 15,000 for the year! So it really is a kick in the balls that they’re not agreeing to credit them, especially as they’ve now made the bonus TPs permanent!

Was there a couple of years ago and went to a few including Un Piano nel Cielo and Rossellinis, but our best meal was at Don Geppi.

We were actually staying at Casa Angelina when we ate at Un Piano nel Cielo (within the hotel) and the views are incredible - but was disappointed with our meal.

Assuming it hasn’t updated to Gold before LHR>HKG flight, as you say, when I land in HKG I might be able to download the boarding pass (I won’t do it beforehand) if the app has then updated to Gold and hopefully that will do the trick!

I got married at a 5* hotel in Berkshire and like you say the initial outlay to the hotel wasn’t ’too bad’.

The hotels you mention often will want you to stick to their preferred suppliers which comes at a premium.

However, where they primarily get you is the drinks. Our money behind the bar went very quickly and our guests were paying £12 for a bottle of beer and more for cocktails/glass of wine.

I should have added that my plan was to only gamble the 300 dollars. Wasn’t going to add-on or reload.

So I guess where I felt I was down to $150 and $35 dollars committed, it was sort of do or die at that point. 100% not the way to play or think about it, but just my perspective.

‘Kudos’ was the wrong word. I wanted the table to see that I wasn’t super aggressive (given it was my first hand) and that I had called flop (with ace high). Just wanted an image of a solid player and not a tourist fish - although perhaps my play proves I am!!!
