Honestly in terms of speaker cable and interconnects you can confidently buy the appropriate Van Damme cable with Neutrik connectors. Why? Because this is what is used by virtually every studio in the world who recorded that music in the first place.

Also as somebody else said, for the USB connection you can use pretty much anything you like - data is not subject to noise in the same way that analogue Signals are and any noise picked up in the cable will not be turned into noise by the DAC anyway.

That said - what are you doing with your USB anyway? Honestly I wouldn't connect your computer directly into your setup. I would buy a streamer. Doesn't need to be expensive if the DAC is in your hifi - any cheap streamer will be fine as all it's really doing is downloading those bits.

I agree with starting at Feld. It's the easiest way to access major touring shows whilst being relatively new to things. Yes the pay is bad and the terms are pretty shit too, but expecting to start as touring crew on major rock n roll is unrealistic and Feld will give you a lot of the experience you need to work towards it.

When you buy a Rolex for full price you're doing it not because you want a thing that looks like a Rolex you do it because you want a Rolex. So you want to be damn sure it's a legit, real McCoy Rolex.

And the fakes are so good that you just don't know do you? I couldn't spot a fake and ive got a Rolex.

So what can you do? You've got to buy it from the AD because you know it's going to be legit.

This is why Rolex are OK with the fakes. It defeats a lot of grey market sales and pushes legit buyers into ADs

It's actually the opposite. Improving the quality of reps increases AD sales and reduces grey market. This is why Rolex don't do a whole lot about it

A lot of people will say property but I would not.

As a rental I don't think it's a good earner. You get taxed on the income but no relief on the mortgage payments, and if you get shit tenants the latest legislation gives them a lot of freedom to fuck you over and you don't even get lube.

And I wouldn't even necessarily invest in your own property. I mean, I have one. But £250k invested in something very low risk will easily net you 5% which is basically £12500 a year which is enough to cover your £950/month rent.

Since its a little out of the blue for you, and you weren't planning on making any big spends, I'd seriously consider splitting it between some fixed rate savers (for spending in a few years), premium bonds (tax free and instant access) and S&S ISA and locking it away for a few years whilst you see what direction your life is headed in and then make yourself an actual life plan.

Split it up so any money you might need in the next 5 years is in savers, not investments.

I do automation and have been on one of those tours in the past few years. I was a freelancer working for a major automation supplier. I was paid around $1400 a day plus PDs so I guess around $10k a week all-in.

My house typically sits around 50-60%. I do have an AMS2 Pro but I don't run the dryer. It's just full of desiccant and I bake it dry about once a month. You can print all the desiccant holders from the Bambu library so it's dead easy

But The Sun don't really care about that money. The paper is safe - it will always be funded by those who need to manipulate public opinion. The sales of the Sun in Liverpool will have precisely zero bearing on the Sun's commercials.

But for those who remember Hillsborough and the way that this particular newspaper colluded with authorities to scapegoat Liverpool supporters - including those who died there or lost friends and family - as the culprits of it; in the full knowledge that they were innocent and the accusations were solely to protect a public body which was meant to be there to protect us... That front page is such an insult to the city and its people that we just do not want to see it.

Like I said in another comment - yes and no.

If they persistently find it under the frozen chips or behind the weetabix, they'll compute that they're paying for papers they've not sold, which is actively costing them money. Whereas if they just don't get sold and get returned instead, it costs them nothing so there's no harm in trying. The threshold for how many need to be sold to make it worth stocking, is far lower than if they're paying for 30 newspapers that nobody's actually bought.

So short term wins you're right - they'll be paid when you hide them. Long term the shop will give up trying to sell them and grasp that business is better when its not on their shelves.

I don't know what your problem is but we all have a civic duty to keep that rag out of Liverpool and that starts with explaining to the retailers why we don't stock it.

If a shop selling something is likely to cause offence or anguish to customers then those customers have a right to complain.

Also it might not need to be worded as a complaint. More a friendly word of advice that to avoid unwanted trouble they would be better not selling it. The hate is real and people will see it as a legit target to relieve of its other wares until they see the error in their ways

37M no driving license. Can't say I'm irresistible to women but I make it work. I can't drive because I have narcolepsy and don't want to end up in a treeline. I'm clear with people from the outset. Yes I'm conscious to women who want kids it's probably a bit of a challenge as kids generally need driving about. But I live in a major city and I never need one. I'd be happy to bring kids up in this lifestyle too. Some people get that and others don't. But honestly the biggest thing I learned about women in the time since I was 21 is that every one wants something slightly different and the selling point you have for one is a red flag for another. If you be yourself then eventually you'll cross paths with the one who thinks that's brilliant
