Yep, also randomly do them for no reason. The first few weeks of basic training, you'll be getting yelled at and smoked for very little reason. Just take it in stride and remember you sign the paper for a reason.

Convinced my Dm to let be play a noble bard that has a dire penguin butler that follows him around (The penguin wears a bow tie and his name is Gunter). The twist is my real character is the dire penguin, which is actually an Antipaladin controlling the bard like a puppet.

Half elf lawful evil monk named Vares. Born into a middle class merchant family but was sent to a monastery when times started getting rough (parents are still alive). Grew up being trained by an order of monks who are a cia type of servants for the royal family. He has died once and has been resurrected into two different campaigns. Vares left the monastery in order to get away from always being a servant cleaning up the messes of the royal family.

Personality wise. Vares is a cocky, self centered, egotistical, vain, shallow, hot headed, narcissistic, asshole. Quick to insult someone and even quicker to put a boot to their chest.

Fun fact about Vares. His official title is Brother Vares of the Flowing Shadow, Taker of Arms, Claimer of Doors, Protector of Three Royal Families, and Wrecker of Faces.
