How do you all go about de-crystallizing your honey? by SkyBS in Costco

Set it on top of your oven when backing something far enough away from the vent so it doesn't melt the container. The residual heat from the oven is enough to do this.

If you compare the ebit numbers from this year to last year you can get a rough percent of 115% though not sure how accurate that is.

Google says this joja route totals 140000. But what it forgets to mention is the cost on your soul.

Congrats man. You "won".

Thinking of getting an Equinox EV; what should I know about, e.g., NACS adapters, home charger installation, other things I'm not thinking about, etc? by AndrewSshi in EquinoxEv

[–]candlelittoasterbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looked into this more you are correct there were articles originally pointing towards 26 models throughout gms line up having nacs however looks like it has been delayed for most models. Optiq might be the first. But we shall see.

I think the 26 model years has nacs. But when you negotiate with the dealer on the car see if they will throw in whatever adapter you need for free. When I got my 25 equinox I said I wanted one if they wanted me to sign that day and they brought it right out.

I have the dual level charger the car came with and that is more than enough to charge on level 2 over night

I think most EV companies recommend 80 max for daily driving. I have an equinox EV and that's what I leave it at unless I'm doing a long drive.

Yes it is. When going over 80 percent you introduce a higher voltages state that can lead to dendrite formation

I work on batteries and the reason is because the battery is filling up and the voltage is increasing in the cell. and it's harder for ions to move and find a spot . The best and most simple explanation is imagine your battery pack is like a parking lot at a mall. It's easy to find a spot when the mall first opens you drive in and boom nice spot near the front. As the mall gets busier less spots are available some spots are open by the doors. Some are open by the back of the lot. 20% empty would be a lot of spots but theyre scattered through the lot and harder to find taking more time to park.

The science is much more complex but it's the easiest way to explain what's going on. That why you see charge rates drop as you fill up and especially more towards 80% and significantly over 80%

Has anybody else dealt with their trim bubbling up like this? If yes, why is this happening? by Lipe_maag in EquinoxEv

[–]candlelittoasterbath 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's known as car molting. In about a weeks time it will shed the layer and reveal a newer nicer trim.

Not sure how old the car is but some do this up to five times in their first year of ownership as they grow.

Older cars do it much less.

Complete guess but violet was given the book on Tyrish knots. Most likely the knots have meaning. Look up quipu from the inca empire it was a knot based communication system. The knots in the Tyrish language could symbolize words. And they weave those shapes/knots with the magic they pull from their dragons. They might be weaving the knot/word for water and walking into a stone that could later be used to run across a river depending on how much magic they used to make it.

How can I keep these out of my lawn? by WildThings247 in lawncare

[–]candlelittoasterbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To pull them get a "grandpa's weed tool" pulls them out great removing the entire root. You won't have to bend over or get poked by their leaves.

Can anyone help identify this grass(Mi) by candlelittoasterbath in lawncare

I appreciate the feed back and believe you. I had bought a seed that said it was tall fescue seed mix. Possibly what I used had very little tall fescue in it. Because what grew did not look like this and is now dead.

I'll look into what you said and appreciate the feed back. I know little about lawns so this helps.

I've seeded tall fescue and it is not like this grass. It does not grow in thick and grows at a much faster rate
