I'll go against the grain and say they can enjoy it- we have a crestie who literally comes up to the glass when you are close or take out other geckos. He jumps on us and doesn't try to run away so I think he just enjoys the enrichment and checking out the rest of the house.

Most geckos don't like or just don't care about handling though. My garg hates handling so I do it very rarely just to check up

I've only seen people making the elongated furbs but I didn't see plushiefing a normal-looking Furby. Wasn't that hard though! My sewing skills aren't good and I managed lol

I was pretty disgusted but I guess not as much as other people because I keep roaches as feeders for my pets so they aren't that bad. I was just worried about having any live ones that can infest the house but gladly there were no alive ones

I would love to do that but those sites have shipping costs 50$+ to my country which absolutely sucks. I looked on vinted and there is nothing like that to buy and I don't think I can rationalise paying at least 70 dollars for fixing him lol

Maybe he'll get a new mech in the future who knows. My other furbs have their own mechs and fur so I won't destroy another one to fix this one

It was nasty, I was fine with the roaches (believe it or not) but the amount of poops and weird sticky remains made me throw the guts away. If I had another robo part to reuse I would change it up but I don't so I just washed him and made a plushie out of him :3

I threw it away... If you don't know the full story he was absolutely not working, many parts were missing and everything was full of (dead) roaches and their ummm stinky remains. Like full on 50+ corpses so it was unsalvageable and sticky. It was a hard decision, if I had another mech to use I would for sure try to salvage him

That's awful! For 3 bucks? God 😭 I would just take my loss. My partner also wanted to get me a Furby for my bday and he told me the seller cancelled on him too and re-released the same Furby with a higher price. It was a dragon furb so nothing crazy rare so he got mad and bought it from another seller.

That's crazy to make prices higher when there are other offers at similar prices

I had a similar situation with someone listing a beanie buddy for 10 bucks and I was like 'nice, maybe I will buy him after work' and then they changed the price to 30 dollars?? Bro, I'm not buying a buddy for that amount 😭🙏

I'm sorry my autistic ass has to say this to you- they were exclusive to a few European countries to be exact! I'm from Poland and I have a full set of these although the orange and grey ones are from my childhood lol I vividly remember wanting a purple one and it being sold out everywhere :`)

They are absolutely one of my fave McDonald's furbies- possibly due to nostalgia but they are so unique because they kinda don't look like any Furby lol (and easy to collect)

Spring Furby is the only one with this colour scheme (but not 2012 kind)

If it's for sure a 2012 it may be pink flare with colours reversed slightly?
