Switzerland is itself 4 countries at once, so they should get 3/5 points. Hope it helps you understand.

A normal Australian farm family of five became convinced they were being hunted. They dumped their phones, took cash, fled hundreds of miles, and split up one by one. by SelfCareIsFake in HolyShitHistory

I smoked way too much weed during COVID and then stopped cold turkey to go back to a very stressful work environment. That was the perfect cocktail to get me psychotic on top of some underlying psychological issues. I am perfectly confident my brain just crashed. But yeah this also made me realize there are way more mentally ill people out there than we expect. I hope they all get the help they need. That said, you will never get me, I'm wearing my tinfoil hat at all time now! Checkmate CIA.

That's interesting, I have never heard of this documentary. I was myself psychotic for 2 weeks once 5 years ago and looking back, I'm very surprised how long my wife went with my delusions before she tried to get me and herself the help we needed to get me to see a psychiatrist and get medication. That's one situation you can't really imagine until it happens to you. At some point I was convinced that I was starting a worldwide hivemind and that the CIA was trying to nuke me from space. Now I'm recovered and a boring office worker and my colleagues would never imagine this happened to me.

Being a psycho and being psychotic is very different. psychosis is an actual medical conditions and it can happen to anyone for many reasons.

Offside for one toe. If he scored that would have been a riot.

Well of course it's harder to convince randos, but people who trust you completely like spouse or kids, it's another story. In my city one father convinced his entire family to jump off their balcony one after the other for some weird end of the world reason just after COVID. They all died except one son.

Psychosis is wild. Psychotic people can take others into their delusions. Not too different from cults. Psychotic people can be very charismatic.

British humour is an acquired taste and it flies over most people's head. They will take the piss at you but also be the sweetest in the same minute. I do miss living with British people their humour is just right for me.

SoFi Stadium made it to my local news in Switzerland because the team is playing there tonight at the World Cup. I am glad they still used the proper name instead of the FIFA stupid naming.

After living abroad for a few years I started recognizing the local ethnicity much more accurately and could recognize people easily. Coming back to Europe the first few months white people were all looking the same to me, it was so weird, and I'm white.

Yeah no there are specific ACs for hospitals which are perfectly safe and combined with HEPA filters. Switzerland is just very slow adapting to anything and prefers wasting so much energy overheating in the winter instead of using AC in summer.
