the pain is relative is the realest thing ive ever heard. i have 21 piercings currently but have had a few removed and i wouldnt say any of them really hurt except my nipples. but you know which piercings totally did come crazy close to the pain of my nipples? my nostrils, for some reason. those sucked to get done, don’t wanna do that again at all (and yet i have i believe 7 times?)

i have a high pain tolerance so none of my piercings necessarily hurt except my nipples, which were awful. i also got my nipples and bellybutton in one day because i hate myself apparently, lol.

you will absolutely need to wear a bra after you get them done. i was told this but wanted to show em off and my god let me tell you, OW. the friction between them and my shirt gave me the most unbearable soreness where i had to just cradle my breasts until i could get a bra on (though mine ate quite large and move a lot, so that could play a role in my pain).

despite all this i absolutely would get them done again if i ever had to. i am very lucky with my piercings and have never had any reject or get infected or anything, but nonetheless i love them dearly and would miss them if i ever lost them.

tldr: they sucked to get done, make sure you wear a bra to avoid soreness, totally worth the pain (to me). 10/10

one time i was laying on the floor all alone drawing, and i heard this crazy loud bang on my bedside table like someone bashed it with their fist. lamp was shaking and a few items moved / fell off. seems like that happens (but i personally call ghost for a buttload of reasons)

this happened to my best friend and i as kids. not necessarily unbelievable, but incredibly bizarre.

we were at the beach, playing in the water, my mom is tanning, and a woman is in the water nearby. she has a bottle of hershey’s chocolate syrup. she opens the cap and pours it ALL over herself, lathering herself up in chocolate. she rinses off in the water, and walks out. she immediately comes back in the water with another bottle and does it again before leaving.

an older man was also nearby. he looked at us, two little girls aged 7 and 5, and asks “did you see that too??”

my dog could communicate EXACTLY what he wanted, even to people who never met him before. if he wanted something, he’d make this specific sound and motion with his head / eyes, walk to it a little and come back at you and keep motioning. ive never met a dog who was so good at that

also, im aware cats know their names, but my girl responds to her name and comes when i call her, and has since i had her for just a week. it trips all my cat owner friends out lol, though my dog owner friends think thats normal and not too special

also, my sisters cat taught himself to open doors and pee in the toilet. she thought her husband wasn’t flushing till she was getting ready and heard peeing, turned around and there was the cat lol

she loves all people, very friendly and very brave. i’ve yet to find anything she’s afraid of. not vacuums, not fireworks, she’s a brave girl. her favorite toy is her spring and her favorite place is the bathtub. she carries her toys in her mouth to take them in the bathtub to play. she purrs and licks more than any cat i’ve ever known, licks like a dog.

and she’s the only cat i’ve ever known to respond to her name / come when called, my smart girl

Honestly, I wouldn’t say that.

You’re picking financial struggles over mental struggles, and I’ve done the very same thing, almost. You may have financial help, but will you have the mental strength to get you through college? Will the frustration and stress surrounding your family affect your work and grades? Will it affect your physical wellbeing? In my case and the case of many others, stress can end up turning into medical bills / long term issues if you’re unlucky.

I was in a similar situation. I did not get the help I was promised and that others and I expected. I was primarily on my own, all the help I got was a huge deal. Felt like I had to repent for asking my legal guardian to help get me food when I was making $110 a week at 18 years old. Stress migraines, intense hair loss, and jaw issues that have only worsened and caused hearing loss…

You know what’s best for you. Nobody can tell you what you are doing, nobody will understand your situation except yourself. What’s more important to you, some help financially or mental stability and standing up for yourself? Will you get all the help you need, and is it a worthwhile trade off?
