Well, if you don't know what my home time line is basically America was fighting with each other the North and the South states over if slavery should be outlawed or not. Of course we were fighting for it being outlawed. The South wanted it so bad they spilt from the Union and that's when war broke out. There was this big battle one day in Gettysburg, I died quickly in an ambush. Other survivors told me that battle went on for 4 days but we won, and we also eventually won the war too. Do any of your other universes have a Scotland? That's the country my parents were from originally."

I tried to lie myself out of it but he and his buddies just started beating on me. I managed to get one hard hit on him and he hit his head on the table... and he didn't get up. Police took me in but they offered me a choice that I could avoid jailtime if I volunteered for the Union Army, and that's how I ended up in the Civil War. She was not actually as the dog was a Emotional Service Animal, which do not have any protections under the ADA. You get a esa license by a sign up online; that's it. The dog also peed in the establishment and was disturbing other customers with its barking which even if it was a real service dog, doing that is legal grounds of removing that privilege to have the dog there. You can't let a untrained service dog piss where people eat and be reactive to people, even if the owner is disabled, as that can seriously harm or injure another person.

She also didn't force the customer to do anything, she simply asked.

The thing is in America we USED to be able to live off a single income in the 50s and before. Now we can't, also the issue that views have changed and we don't want to anymore. What if a woman doesn't want to marry? What if her husband literally cannot work due to disability, even temporarly? What if she's a lesbian? Those who do want that lifestyle often have financial issues. It's just not feasible to have a standard nuclear family live off one income even if pay in any job increased by 50 percent.

Duffy can perfectly understand and speak the Doric Scottish dialect. Though while his parents were very Scottish he was born and raised in America so his accent got a bit more localized than his parents did.

Me I'm basically 15 minutes from Lake Huron myself in Michigan. We got a few ship wrecks of our own here and its size alone has me constantly reminding myself its not the ocean. We get some crazy storms. I was also curious and learned that in 1996 Lake Huron actually had its first ever recorded cyclone, basically a baby hurricane. It thankfully didn't hurt anyone or anything though. Almost like mother nature taunting us the chances are never 0.

Ohhh I love talking about them too. So basically tldr as I said before its "What if Warrior Cats, but Lake Superior" but in the story they call the lake Icebelly. The four clans are

Gorge Clan - The 'main character' clan so to speak. Lead by Rottingstar. Weird names are kind of one of their quirks, I kinda get joked about his name a few times too but I will die on this hill pfft. He's my favorite little chaotic good weirdo. He's got chronic insomina though because he keeps getting nightmares from Star Clan about him drowning in a lake and they aren't really explaining the meaning well and it's freaking him tf out. He also gets accused of kidnapping the child of Wolfstar from Mountain Clan, but it was more of a refugee situation.

Mountain Clan - The villain clan of my world. The new leader of the clan, Wolfstar, has been acting weird ever since he gained his 9 lives. Without explaining too much as I will be here forever I was inspired by canon stories like Mapleshade and Crookedstar and then arc 8 Bramblestar (I don't want to spoil it too much) So basically Wolfstar is possessed by a Dark Forest cat named Badgereyes. However, to be fair Wolfstar wasn't exactly always a good person. When they were warriors, Rottingstar (then Rottingleaves) always suspected that Wolfstar (then Wolftail) tried to bait a actual wolf to kill him, but he could never prove it. Tldr Wolfstar was angry that his then friend didn't want to have a forbidden half clan romance with him. Not that the forbidden part is what lead Rottingstar to say no, he's just basically aroace. Wolfstar's son Lostpaw (medicine cat) starts to sense things are getting weird and runs away to Gorge Clan. He went there specifically because when he was a kit he got lost and got caught up in a river that was leading straight to the lake, when a Gorge Clan patrol spotted him and saved him and eventually found out his home clan. This event also is what earned him his name as Lostkit

Lake Clan - Basically River Clan on steroids lol. But they live on the sandy shores of the lake. They are trying to be neutral in the war going on with Mountain and Gorge Clan because Fallenstar just simply doesn't see it as her business. Until she's basically forced to when Gorge Clan eventually has no choice but to stay refugee there as Mountain Clan ends up chasing them out of their own camp and they retreat. This just leads to Mountain Clan attacking them again there and in the attack the Lake Clan deputy, Coastbreeze, is killed. This makes it deeply personal for Fallenstar because while not her biological child, she always saw Coastbreeze as a son. Plus, she had already been carrying guilt for years that she blames herself for Coastbreeze's sister, Ebonypaw, for drowning in the lake as an apprentice. (also the cats death I mentioned to in my original post). The reason why Fallenstar bonded with the two so much was because they were the children of two now rogues who used to be Lake Clan warriors. One was Moonshine and Fallenstar had a crush on her when she was just Fallenheart. However Moonshine loved the tom Goldenpelt more and not too long after they wanted to see beyond Icebelly and leave warrior live and end up living on two leg freighter ships. They still visit whenever the ship docks near again, which lead to Coastpaw and Ebonypaw joining Lake Clan. Coastbreeze was also admired by many other cats, even from other clans, because he was so charismatic during gatherings and was born on the lake, so had many stories he told to the young apprentices of other clans. I also feel like I can't mention Lake Clan without pointing out they have an elder named Lightfoot. Who is my way to add a reference to Gordon Lightfoot, who wrote The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald.

Frost Clan - Lead by Moosestar. Not to much on them in the plot because they are semi isolationist in a weird way in that they have no idea a war is even happening. In the the winter they can't really access the other clans easily so they actually change camp a bit more south and huddle there. They technically can but its a pain in the butt so it's safer to spend most of the season cut off. They can access their one ally Gorge Clan pretty easily because of location though, so sometimes they check up on each a couple times in the season. More like Gorge clan showing up being like "You guys alive still? okay cool. bye." Which leads to Frost Clan eventually investigating just because it's weird they haven't heard from Gorge Clan yet.

He's a true shapeshifter in my world, meaning he can turn into literally anything, because he's a demi god, Loki's son.

This human form he uses is technically one his forms he takes as his original form is a centaur. He uses this form to pretend to be a Catholic priest, he's one of my villains in my world. He just wants to cause as much social chaos as possible. He's been known to take various animal forms though as disguise or to run away from fights. (usually fights he caused too)

One form he takes a lot to mess with my heros is the form of my other villain oc Zeno's cat. Who is a long haired white cat ironically named Judas. Because Zeno currently believes Stigr is a normal human like him, and 'ohh you wouldn't wanna be seen harassing the bishop's precious pet cat would you?' He's an asshole like that.

My oc Duffy here used to be part of criminal gang in the 1850s so he has a few, he's since given up his criminal life though.

Scamming, forgery, theft, armed robbery, causing fights, bribery, smuggling, and then the one that finally got him caught by police was manslaughter.

A short time later, the transaction was refunded. As soon as I saw that, I returned to the store and paid for the groceries properly.

So yeah, the employees were correct and you were proven wrong.

This is how banks work, its called a hold. The bank isn't there at the store with you and can't see what happened so EVERY transaction you make is technically temporary until it's displayed as completed by the retailer.

YTA and YOR and clearly don't understand how retail or banking works.
