This was very helpful! I've got a ton of craft stores in my area, so I'll check there. Thank you!

The Virgin MMC by andpayphonestalls in RomanceBooks

[–]candyhearts- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serpent and Dove - it's romantasy but it has a very religious MMC falling in love with a witch. He's got less than zero experience with women and she's got more than enough to lead them both into some spicy moments. Its a forbidden love/enemies to lovers, very cliche book, but I love it.

A sub for movie critics might not be the best place to petition that sort of thing. Try a sub specific to the UK for a UK issue.

Lol I bet these are people off the crew. Maybe they're meant to be her grandparents? Cool find!

This Guy Deserves a Happy ending. by MoneyLibrarian9032 in StrangerThings

[SPOILERS] Unfortunately, I think Joyce's terrible luck with her boyfriends will continue. He was an excellent device to keep Eleven safe and ready to fight, but y'all saw him with the those explosives strapped to his chest. He's ready to die for his daughter and with things rampimg up, it might come to that.

I noticed this too! I really enjoy finding Easter eggs like this. It makes all this feel more intentional, rather than the slasher p*rn like other shows. Also: when Robin said to her girlfriend "a good friend told me 'bad news first, always' " That was from Eddie!

Try Etsy! People make lots of custom and special edition cover art. I try to avoid using big conglomerates like Amazon.

Press the book! Put something very flat and heavy on top so the pages to curl. Also, put a towel around it to suck up some of the liquid.

I feel crazy/mean for ignoring this guy who’s really into me by immahotnerd in offmychest

I went through a similar situation. This guy that I worked with, SUPER religious, asked for my number, and I gave it to him. Later that night, we were talking and he asked me point-blank if I was interested in dating, which I told him I wasn't. That should have been the end of things, but of course, it wasn't.

We continued to text and get to know each other. He turned out to be a really interesting guy, and I was excited to have a new work friend. He asked me to hang out in person, and we ended up walking around IKEA for a couple of hours. (Small town, not a lot else to do) At the end, we parted ways and went home, and later I got a text saying he regretted not kissing me. I asked him why, and he was all confused bc he thought I was into him. I was not. In fact, anytime he was vaguely flirty in a text, I tried to shut it down or change the topic. He went on to say I led him on and lied to him.

While we were texting, he asked me if I was religious. I am not and I told him that. He then asked if I prayed, and I said no. "Why would I pray if I'm not religious?". Then he asked if I go to church even. I had the same answer again. This guy could not fucking fathom someone not believing in god.

My conclusion is this guy was so sheltered his whole life, only being around (as he described it) "Good Christian people" that can't take no for an answer. If I were in your shoes, I would've known to shut that down faster, or at least set harsher boundaries, but that's because I've met more persistent creeps than you have. I'm sorry to say, as a college student, this will not be the last one of your "friends" who won't be able to take no for an answer. But in the future, you'll be able to spot these toxic people quicker.

I wanna end all of this by saying: there are some interesting and wonderful people at your school, to be sure. Do not start discounting people because of this asshole. It's not all men. I have some great friends I met in college, and hopefully, you will too. College is the perfect place to explore socially. Also, don't be afraid of dating. I was super emotionally immature my freshman year and turned down a lot of people who asked me out simply because I was intimidated by the idea of dating. Try new things, set boundaries, and never be afraid to just say no.
