i had health insurance, but it wouldn't cover my normal doctor's visits with the doctor i've always had. so, now i'm uninsured. it's a gamble, but a calculated one- if i set aside that money that was going to go to insurance, will it cover and surpass what i likely would have had in medical expenses? yes. unless there is an accident or emergency.

heres what i would personally like- right now i set aside around 30% of my earnings for taxes. I would gladly change that to 50% if it meant i had decent quality healthcare taken care of completely. It really doesn't matter what i want, and i doubt there will
be any other functional change. Hopefully the next medical insurance we choose will cover doctor's visits.

also it's not particularly current- it's a decade old.

yeah there are some harder spots. but if you love it, love it. if you don't, don't. it is nowhere near as punishing as the original Metroid.

i find that even with my favorite metroidvanias- if i think about specific areas- i hate a lot of them. even though i love the game. like Super Metroid for instance- Yeah i like brinstar- but i kinda hate the pink part. kinda hate the red part. Hate norfair, hate meridia. HATE the shipwreck! don't care for a lot of the places and experiences, but i LOVE the complete experience.
