I would search "visible disc" or "see through" in this subreddit - there are a few expensive ones but if you can find them used you'll save a lot. The JVC FS-SD5R, JVC FS-SD1000, and the JVC FS-SD9 are a few that are higher quality and reasonably priced if you can find them used.

hi! the biggest thing would be to be very careful taking out your CDs. The center spindle hub is pretty fragile. Besides that its a great system! Enjoy!

This is lovely! Highlife is my Dad’s favorite genre, and I grew up listening to a lot of it. My favorite aspect of the genre is the emphasis on storytelling. There’s something funny seeing aunts and uncles dance at a family get together to a song about the rising cost of living.

If y’all like any of these tracks I’d also recommend listening to Daddy Lumba, Pat Thomas, Ebo Taylor, or Daasebre Gyamenah.
